Subic Sun Convention Resort & Casino is a US$300 million (₱16 billion) integrated-resort development under construction within the Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Zambales — the first major integrated resort built in Subic since the area's establishment as a special economic zone. Subic Sun broke ground in March 2024 under the French Accor operating partnership with the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority — the first major Accor-branded integrated-resort development in the Philippines outside the upcoming Mövenpick Manila Bay Westside delivery at Westside City Resort.

Subic Sun sits within the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales — approximately two-and-a-half to three hours by car from Manila via NLEX and the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX). From Clark International Airport, the drive runs forty-five to sixty minutes via SCTEX. From Manila's NAIA, the routing extends via NLEX-SCTEX with the same overall transit window.

For the international visitor arriving via Clark International Airport, Subic Sun will run a complimentary luxury-vehicle transfer programme for confirmed guests. The Two Accor Hotel Brands

Ibis Styles delivers the in-style stay register at the affordable-affluent price point — calibrated for the broader MICE-event traveller, the family weekend, and the Manila domestic affluent on a budget-conscious trip. The brand's signature swimming pool, fitness centre, and meeting-space programming run at the standard Ibis Styles operating model.

Mercure Subic — the 250-room midscale French Accor brand. The Mercure room product and dining programme carry the French hospitality vocabulary that the brand has built across its Asian and European footprint.

Together, the two hotels deliver approximately 500 aggregate guest rooms — the largest Subic Bay hotel concentration under single integrated-resort operation.

For Accor Live Limitless (ALL) loyalty members, the Subic Sun stay layers into the broader Accor programme — meaning credentials from Sofitel Bangkok, Mövenpick Singapore, Pullman Sydney, and the rest of the Accor stable transfer.

The Casino Floor and the AI Integration

The casino-floor programme will operate under PAGCOR licensing once the property opens.

Subic Sun's structural distinction in casino technology is its partnership with IvedaAI — the AI-powered video surveillance and casino-operations platform that the property will deploy at grand opening. Throughout 2026 — Progressive build-out of the remaining property components, the loyalty-programme integrations, and the convention-and-MICE programming.
