Driving In

Solaire North is the integrated resort whose arrival pattern is primarily domestic. Foreign tourists land at NAIA and book Entertainment City; the affluent Filipino books Solaire North.

The drive from Makati or BGC runs thirty to forty-five minutes northbound on EDSA, depending on hour and weekday — longer when the corporate traffic is on its way out of the Ayala-Ortigas axis. From Ortigas, twenty to thirty minutes via EDSA. From Quezon City residential corridors — New Manila, Greenhills, Cubao, Eastwood — ten to fifteen minutes. From NAIA, forty-five minutes to over an hour via Skyway northbound, traffic permitting.

The Vertis North arrival itself is one of the more pleasant pieces of Manila urban experience. You take EDSA northbound past Trinoma, exit onto Mindanao Avenue or the Vertis interior road, and within a block the Solaire tower rises ahead — a single L-shaped silhouette against the northern sky, distinguishable from the surrounding Ayala office buildings by its calibrated curve and the gold-accented exterior. The porte-cochère opens onto a forecourt that is, by Quezon City standards, generous; the valet is staffed; the doorman is in tailcoat. The Multilingual Welcome

The clientele at Solaire North is, structurally, different from Solaire Entertainment City's.

Straight ahead, registration and the elevator banks to the L-shaped tower. There is no Sky Tower / Bay Tower split here — Solaire North operates as a single hotel within a single tower. Once you have checked in, the entire experience is integrated.

The Hotel — The L-Shaped Tower

Approximately 526 rooms and suites across the property's L-shaped tower. Categories run from Deluxe through Premier Suite, with the higher tiers featuring the property's signature panoramic views — the northern Metro Manila skyline at one orientation, the Sierra Madre mountain ridge at the other (visible on clear days). The room product carries the same Bloomberry standard as Solaire Entertainment City: bay-window dressings, generous Italian-style bathroom finishes, Egyptian-cotton linens, advanced in-room technology.

The Solaire Loyalty Rewards member who has stayed at the Bay Tower or Sky Tower will recognise the room product within the first thirty seconds.

The Casino Floor — Four Levels

163 live table games. 2,669 electronic gaming machines. Four levels of casino. This is the largest gaming-floor scale among Bloomberry's two Philippine properties.

The Asian clientele baccarat dominance carries; blackjack, roulette, sic bo, poker, and Texas hold'em support. Stadium-style baccarat occupies the central pit on the main floor. Private VIP gaming salons sit off the main floor with segregated entrances and dedicated host service. The junket programmes Bloomberry operates at Solaire Entertainment City carry over to Solaire North for the cross-property VIP circulation.

Multi-currency operations accept peso, US dollar, Hong Kong dollar, Singapore dollar, and Korean won at selected tables. Standard-floor minimums typically range ₱500 to ₱5,000, varying by table and time. VIP salon minimums vary by programme and arrange through the host system in advance.

The Quezon City affluent who used to make the Aseana Avenue drive for the Bay Tower visit now have an alternative twenty minutes from the BGC office.

The Sky Park and the Skybar

The property's signature amenity is the rooftop programme: an L-shaped swimming pool with a small water-park component for families, a generous deck for sun loungers and the daytime register, and the Skybar rooftop venue above. The Quezon City property runs at a quieter operating rhythm than the Bay City four — fewer Korean tour-group surges, less Lunar New Year peak intensity. Weekend evenings (Friday and Saturday) are the local-affluent peak — affluent QC residents and BGC weekenders. Weekday afternoons and weeknights carry the property at its quietest.

Chinese New Year, Easter, and Christmas-New Year drive higher occupancy at the hotel level than at the gaming-floor level — Solaire North is increasingly chosen for QC family staycations rather than for tour-group gaming weekends. Hotel reservations during these windows require three to four weeks of lead time rather than the three months Bay City properties demand.
