FF
Jazz Clip Cavs ! After helping his teammates handle most of the scoring with 12 assists, Deron Williams decided to keep it for himself at the end. Williams drove the length of the floor for a layup with 1.3 seconds remaining Wednesday night to give the Utah Jazz a 103-101 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, overcoming LeBron James' triple-double and tying 3-pointer just seconds before. James, who had a triple-double before the end of the third quarter, tied it with a 3-pointer from the top of the key with 6 seconds left to play. But before the Cavs could revel in the comeback, Williams was off and running toward the other end and the game-winner. "We just get it and go. We find that works for us," said Williams, who finished with 15 points. "I think they felt we were going to call a timeout. They're looking back to see what we're doing and while they're doing that we're racing up the court." Williams got around Zydrunas Ilgauskas, scooped the ball under the rim and laid it in for the Jazz, who left the door open for James to make it a thrilling finish. honorable mentions for the jazz : millsap 24 pts on 7-8 shooting and 10-13 from the line ; brewer 16 points and five steals (!!!!!) , boozer 23 points and 12 rebs , ak47 3 rebs , 5 asts , 2 blocks , 8 pts . in tagalog ... jazz panaloooooooooooooooooooooooo ... cavs taloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ! FF
jazz win three in a row as utah blasts memphis 118-94 ! while boozer ( 31 pts , 7 rebs) and dwill ( 20 pts m 5 rebs , 13 asts ) remained the stars of the show ... andrei kirilenko's stat line ( 15 pts , 12 rebs , 9 asts , 4 stls , 1 blk ) was more than impressive. even the hard to impress sloan was praising ak47's improvement. Andrei Kirilenko seemed to be everywhere on the court. "We were able to pass the ball extremely well and got our hands on the basketball. Andrei, he's played terrific as of late. He made terrific passes and he's played extremely well," Utah coach Jerry Sloan said. Quote Link to comment

FF
jazz blow by philly 106-95 ! from the deseret news : They're usually not Top 10 contenders, typically don't make SportsCenter and almost certainly are not YouTube material. Layups, Jazz coach Jerry Sloan was saying prior to Utah's visit with Philadelphia here, simply "don't look very pretty. "They never have," Sloan added. "But we've always tried to get guys an opportunity to where they can get the ball inside." The 76ers knew it, too — and yet it was still critical to their demise as the Jazz rolled Wednesday night to a 106-95 win at sparsely filled Wachovia Center. Utah went that route time and time again throughout a fourth quarter in which it never trailed, and the end result — spurred by a 26-point performance from power forward Carlos Boozer, and a double-double from point guard Deron Williams that featured 15 points and a season-high 15 assists — was that the 11-5 Jazz closed a three-game trip at 2-1. FF
another great game by the Jazz and AKtriple double .. but mas astig e one block away from another 5X5!! credit boozer's absence for ak's stats. ak has longed to play the 4 for the jazz ( a position he played three years ago when he got the fat contract) but has had to settle for the small forward spot . imagine kirilenko on the suns. he'd be posting a five x five every night. FF
jazz burn heat 110-101 ! mehmet okur had his best game of the season scoring 25 points with his last points coming off a dagger from three point land that put the jazz up by with 1:19 to play.okur finished by going 4-5 on three pointers. d-will , boozer , kirilenko and brewer all scored on double figures as the jazz made it eight straight wins at home. game notes : The heat were frigid from the line ; missing 16-31 of their free throws. wade and shaq combined to clank 12 missed freebies ; shooting a horrid 8-18 from the line.and howard the duck would be glad to know that his favorite jazz player Carlos Booooooooooooooooooozer was named the Western Conference Player of the Month by the NBA on Monday. He averaged 25.4 points and 11.2 rebounds to become the first member of the Jazz to win the monthly award since Karl Malone in November 2000. :thumbsupsmiley: Edited December 4, 2007 by FF Quote Link to comment

tanis
mukhang delikado nga Jazz nitong weekend. But me motivation sila vs SAS. Plus baka di pa rin maglaro si TD.hopefully they at least win one game. Quote Link to comment
SUENOS
The Jazz just have too much talent -- hopefully they will really mesh this year. Two former all-stars and two future all-stars in the starting lineup is huge :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment
FF
mukhang delikado nga Jazz nitong weekend. But me motivation sila vs SAS. Plus baka di pa rin maglaro si TD.hopefully they at least win one game. the jazz road trip turned into roadkill as they were hammered by the kings , the spurs ( no TD ! ) , and the mavs. up ahead are the blazers at home and two more on the road ( phoenix and portland ). okur needs to regain his all star form . if he's not sinking the threes he's not being helpful to the jazz as he's an average defender at the 5.
