how bout this, all reelectionist once elected for a second term, gets only two thirds of the pork barrel of first termers while third termers get 1/3.

logic is simple. 2nd and 3rd termers have covered ground as far as jump starting their programs for their constituents... some of the work will merely entail either follow up or continuance of work already done.

this also serves another purpose, for obvious reasons really... less money at their disposal equals less money to currupt. besides it discourages politicians to run for reelections while it encourages first timers to do their job within a "single term" time frame.

healthy for philippine politics dont you think?

ours is an extreme case... hence the extreme method and suggestion...hehehe

PLUG THE LOOPHOLES IN THE "MINIMUM WAGE LAW"

Ang daming companies, SM for example, have found a loophole in the minimum wage law. Gagawin nila, puro casual employees lang, then renew ng renew... so hindi na re-regular ang employee... the minimum wage law does not apply to casual employees.

I propose that the minimum wage law should be just that, MINIMUM! Ibig sabihin, kahit casual ka lang, minimum wage na dapat. And better yet, compute the minimum wage on an hourly basis. Iba naman kasi, minimum wage nga pero extended naman ang working hours.

law that forces the government to educate the people about its laws, or make the law more accessible.

so that ordinay folk can understand the law and follow it and not be surprised of hefty fines (or jailtime!) slapped on innocent people just because they don't know the law which is, most of the time, hidden in a thick book somewhere understandable by lawyers only.

or better yet, a law that requires all laws to be written in plain english hehehe

To "force" people to segregate their garbage, segregate garbage collection. For example, mondays, only biodegradables will be collected. Tuesdays, recyclables. etc. You get the idea.

in makati they are doing it already.

mwf - nabubulok

tths - di nabubulok

di ko sure kung tama o baliktad hehe :)

expanded nepotism (parang expanded valued added tax)

if one of the family is already government service in any branch

automatic nobody else in the family should be allowed to work/serve in the government already

ex. binay is already the mayor of makati, his son should not be allowed to run for councilor or barangay chairman etc.,

only after the older binay steps down, before the younger one can run for office.
