lomex32
Secret maybe not : If you buy KFC in SG, the only gravy you can get is only when you buy mashed potato topped with gravy. In SG McDonald's Mayonnaise is free but you just have to ask. Chili (Latiao) is served by default in hawkers unless you specify .... In "turo-turo" food shops in SG the server uses if the same laddle when scooping/serving food ... speed1909
Damn! What a list... The brothels are quite interesting as they look like ordinary neigborhood houses except for the red lamp hanging outside indicating the type of biz they are in. You go in, they'll serve you tea, show you some pics. If you don't see anything you like, just give them a description of what you are looking for and the brothel will send someone out looking for your type. Quote Link to comment
lomex32
BB Mei you. Boring ang Singapore if you really look at it. You can go around the country/island in 2-3 hours drive.People are law-abiding and virtually there is no escape in their law. Those who walk the gray line see the excitement. Anyway sometimes SG laws also closes one eye. Example. You can openly see Pornographic VCDs just below MRT stations of Boon Lay, Jurong East, Clementi, the streets in Desker, the Lorongs ..... Indeed it is illegal but times are hard...... Enforcing the law to the fullest may drive people to higher crimes I manage to see one Porno VCD vendor, the police arrived and kicked the table that scattered all the stuff on to the pavement, and they just let the VCD vendor run away ..... SG's anti-vice squad keeps things at a manageable level ..... we all know its there and we all agree that these are necessary evil .... Perhaps this is one thing that makes this country as it is now...... Orchard towers are raided on 2x a year one in Jan-Feb (perhaps in time of CNY) and another just before X-mas One thing that SG will not tolerate is Rebellion or any actions/words/Accusations/write-ups against the STATE. When more than 20 people gather without permit they will be charged by Illegal Assembly. When you say something against LKY you will be charged by SLANDER and they will fine you up to your last penny. It does not end there, your applications for HDB, CPF loans will likely be denied. BIG BROTHER is watching..... Quote Link to comment

BIG BROTHER is watching.....<{POST_SNAPBACK}> :thumbsupsmiley: :thumbsupsmiley: :thumbsupsmiley: Bro you got it right! Spot on. VCD prono on display are ususally owned by chinese from China or goodsfrom Malaysia. The influx of Chinese into Singapore has given rise to a lot of crime. But Singaporehas no choice because they need to have more chinese than malay. Singapore chinese birth ratehas reached zero and Malaysia are giving birth like 4 or 5 and I even read of those with 7. You knowwhat I mean? Yap I can tell you that Big Brother is watching closely. For small crime they were let go like the VCD vendor. They will permit them at manageable level. Even the red light district in Geylang is permitting.Remember it was mabini in Malaysia but because of Alredo Lim's lockup, they move to many places allover manila. So the govt understand this principle and let the geylang red light continue. Of course they don't permit rebellion, write out. Look at the Philippines. The reason why Singaporeanbear with the govt because Big Brother is watching and Censorship because singaporean by and largeare all taken care of. Look at the recent budget announcement. 3.6 billion dollars in cash will begiven out to the workers of the country because the government is doing well financially. If I am notwrong by the first week of May an average Singaporean will get around $400 to $800 dollar cash andan average family should receive more than 1000 dollars. If you serve in the army in the past, theydish out $400 cash for you. Whether it is election year or not, the fact is for the average singaproean, there is food on the table, education is heavily subsidised and if you do well in your education, you are assured of a good career. After education you definitely can get a job, a matter of time. These arewhat is lacking in our country, philippines. So look at the good point also Quote Link to comment
lomex32
Dont confuse yourself joeyvb PPP - the dominant political party of LKY, sabi nga nila "Pay Pay Pay"Singapore advocates discipline as well productivity among its people ....Nothing is FREE is Singapore .... Education in Singapore is only a priviledge or for the priviledged ....It follows the British system of Education. After High School take "O" LevelsYour choices are 1. lomex32
Nice try : There is a girly bar named Woodlands in Tanjong Pagar Another : BB you should know this. I was in this rooftop restaurant somewhere near by sea. I chose a table overlooking the sea and I can see Sentosa island from where I was sitting. I ordered barbecued Peking duck, shredded scallops and fish and beer .... After 30 minutes I look at the same window again, now I can see the building skyline in Raffles Place hmmmm Which place really was I? I was still on the same table.
