I used to hang out at Orchard Road, Bugis (the shopping mall just outside the subway) Tampines Mall and White Sands (nearest one to my place)... at times I go to Marina Bay..... I may not be an expert on pirated software in SG, but yes, i heard someone say SIM LIM ..I doubt if they have it in Funan Mall.. These shops open and close and open again.They get raided yes. Then open again. You can even see PORNO vcd's just outside MRT stations in Jurong East, Boon Lay, Clementi, Bedok At hard time they SG police close one eye on these. They confiscate the VCD and letthe perpetrators run away. Life is hard <--- (Thats what Inspector Lee told me) I saw one sidewalk VCD vendor... The policeman kicked the VCDs and ot scatteredall over the place ... he just let the vendor ran away ..... But sometimes they set an example by also jailing a few. One Lola 59 yrs old CAUGHT in a Porno VCD buy BUST It was even headline in a Free morning paper ....(of course Lola's face covered) i have some query for our MTC members in Sg. are pirated softwares available in SG?
