photographer
Sabi nilang mahirap is not mahirap kundi walang freedom of the press. Pero during the first three years of Martial Law, bumait at sumusunod ang mga tao sa batas and traffic rules and regulations. Quote Link to comment
photographer
I remember during the Xmas even, suspended ang curfew, naku, parang pinakawalan sa kulungan mga tao.

photographer
DM transit was an all-white regular sized bus like the Manila Transit/Love Bus. Sinasakyan ko from Quiapo to Proj. 6 - JD Transit, yung colored maroon at or red. Quote Link to comment

What I stated was the first three years of Martial Law or the first two years. After that, umabuso na at nakatikim na ng kapangyarihan ang militar. That's the very reason kung bakit takot na maibalik ang Martial Law. With the kind of government we have now, we know whats on their mind when Martial Law got declared. Quote Link to comment
john2004
METROCOM ata yung nanghuhuli nuon. The dreaded METROCOM. Sino ba head nila? Yung torturer daw? Abadilla? Quote Link to comment

boomouse
... with a matching pair of custom-made leather boots from that famous shop (i can't remember) somewhere in Recto. Replying to a two year old post… I think that store is called Glenmore. The Glenmore Barn Bootery is the full name I think. I got a pair of Joe Cocker-style lace-ups there to use in place of the army boots in ROTC. Astig. Quote Link to comment

Magaling
I used to frown on my classmates who would rush home after classes just so they can watch Voltes V. We were in 1st or 2nd year high school. I thought at that time that watching cartoons was being childish. Pakiramdam ko kasi nuon, binata na kami. We should be more interested in girls. Many years later, I would buy the whole vcd collection of Voltes V and watch it as a full grown man! Hahaha! :upside: :upside: Quote Link to comment
