what say you about the 90's anthology of Palanca awardees ? in short stories or poems (published by UP press), are they worth it ? i mean, how strong are the literary foundation of our current crop of writers ?

Hi guys. :D Try and get a copy of the Yellow Silk Erotic Arts & Letters book. It's kind of rare now since it's out of print but it's such a good book. :D I've been posting some poetry from it at the Erotic Exerpts thread in the VIP Forum to give you guys an idea of how good the book is. :D

I bought mine at an online bookstore. It's also a signed copy. :) You can check out seond hand bookstores. I can also ask my friend who owns the online bookstore if he can get more copies of it. :) But if you've got friends in the States you can ask them to scout it for you in second hand bookstores there. :)

Hello guys,

How have been doing? Read any good books lately?

Hayyy just finished reading "Cross Roads of Twilight", parang walang nangyari sa kwento............

By the way I saw some porn/erotic books (stories) at crossings department store 3rd level. It's at National boookstore at quezon ave. For those you love to read them (ithink there was around 15 titles) go check it out, sells at 45 each. hehehe

Good morning, booklovers!

Am now reading Rogue Trader by Nick Leeson (he of the Baring scandal). Just wondering if there's anyone else who's into this genre? :)

you mean non-fiction?

I'm into a lot of travel lit, but right now I'm reading SEE NO EVIL by Robert Baer, who was a CIA ground operative. The book is his account of his recruitment and his years in the field, mostly in the Mid-East, and tells of how he thinks America's indifference and downright lukewarm attitude in the name of political correctness indirectly led to 9/11....quite a good read.
