DARKANE - Insanity (Gothenburg melodic death metal)

SUPERJOINT RITUAL - Use Once and Destroy (teh debut album from Phil Anselmo's post-Pantera project)

Just PM me if you're interested.

  2. Eto mga suggestions ko na slogan:

    1) POUNDING THE WORLD LIKE A BATTERING RAM

    2) IF YOU'RE NOT A METALHEAD YOU MIGHT AS WELL BE DEAD

s**t, wala na ako maisip. Yan muna pag-pilian niyo. Hulaan niyo na rin kung anung song and what artist kumanta niyan.

np: David Bowie - The Man Who Sold the World

  4. Hmm...'kala ko okay sa Convergys. Hindi pala. Bakit?

Which brings me to a somewhat related topic:

what don't you like about the call center you work for?

We all know that there's no perfect company. Thus, what about we air out what we don't like about the call center companies we work for, whether it's the policies, the people etc. Naming the call center is optional.

  5. I'd be lying if I said I was never into glam/hair metal bands. It's a natural progression if you're a kid who started listening to hard rock/heavy metal in the late '80s/early '90s to start with the 'lighter' stuff like glam/hair/pop metal. High School din ako nung sumikat to. Among my favorite albums were:

Dagdag pa ako ng ibang banda from this genre:

Kiss (the fathers of cock rock!)

    Faster Pussycat

    Warrant

    Ratt

    Mr. Big

    Trixter

Anyone have an mp3 of Little Caesar's "In Your Arms"? Please pm me if you do.

  6. @spongebobby: No, Led Zep is not metal. They're a hard rock band. They did influence a lot of metal bands but they're not metal per se. Robert Plant's high shrieks did influence a lot of high-pitched metal singers in the traditional heavy metal and power metal genres.

  7. I took up 6 units of Spanish back in college but I was just studying it for the grade and not to learn. The phrase that I can consistently say is "Vamos a comer!"

Sayang! If I took it seriously, I would've been earning more than double I'm making now in my call center job.

  8. Hey guys, this is slightly OT, pero di naman ata. Anyone work for a BPO or Business Process Outsourcing unit? It's like being in a call center pero instead of taking in calls, backend job na data entry and data analysis ang ginagawa. That's my basic idea of it and that's what been described to me as well. I'd like to know more about it, kung paano yung work dun compared to a normal call center setting at paano yung metrics. Some CCs naman are starting to expand their operations to include BPO work na din. Anyone care to expound on BPOs?

    @spishoxxx: Yep, pirated yan.

  10. @Nekromantik: Hindi ah! Hindi ako yung host ng Metal Sadness. I was part of the show last year. But I had differences with the ugly, geeky host about the stuff we should be playing.

@AmplifiedGirl: Helmet was a post-hardcore band that had some metal elements in their music but weren't really metal.

  11. Tahimik ba? Playlist na lang tayo. Eto mga albums na pinapatugotg ko this week so far:

    Queensrcyhe - Empire

Lost Horizon - Awakening the World

Shadows Fall - The Art of Balance

Emperor - In the Nightside Eclipse

    Dream Theater - Awake

Dream Theater - Images and Words

  12. hmmm....i envy people working in a call center....and the problem is that i do have poor communication in english...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :grr:

Dude, try it out anyway. You're going to undergo voice and accent training once you're hired. Some helpful advice: If call center recruiters interview you over the phone, you better talk in your best English. Though they may ask you questions like, 'tell me about yourself', 'what's your greatest achievement?' but they're not really listening to the content. They're actually listening to how you pronounce and enunciate words, specifically the 'ph' and 'f' sounds in words.

  13. best band ever: HELMET,TOOL,NIN,alice in chains,pearljam

Wrong thread, amplified girl. None of those bands are metal. They may have made some metal-influenced albums but none of them are real metal.

I'd recommend you listen to the real thing, take your pick from the different genres that metal has to offer:

thrash: old SLAYER/METALLICA/MEGADETH/ANTHRAX, KREATOR, DEATH ANGEL, SODOM

death metal: DEICIDE, DEATH, OBITUARY, SUFFOCATION, MORBID ANGEL, CANNIBAL CORPSE

black metal: DARKTHRONE, IMMORTAL, EMPEROR, MAYHEM, early-BATHORY

power metal: DRAGONFORCE, LOST HORIZON, HELLOWEEN, GAMMA RAY, RHAPSODY

goth metal: CRADLE OF FILTH, PARADISE LOST

traditional metal: IRON MAIDEN, JUDAS PRIEST, MANOWAR

doom metal: CATHEDRAL, DOOMSWORD, ELECTRIC WIZARD

  14. Pantera were one of the most influential Heavy Metal bands of the 1990s. They were modern (or so-called "power-groove") metal. psensya hindi pala power metal.AT hindi ako bata, ASS WIPE!!! :grr:

Ayun, power-groove hindi power metal. Atleast nalinaw mo!
