Dr.Love
Heh, heh, you didn't need to intently listen to the radio to hear "Larawang Kupas" sometime back. Parang naging hit din yun e. Kung sumakay ka sa jeep, bus or somewhere public and there's a radio playing, malamang maririnig mo yun e. This June 26 daw ang Gods of Metal 10 e. Sa Caliente uli ang venue. Twice a month pala ang Gods of Metal series of gigs. I'm not sure kung paano mapasama sa lineup. Maybe you can approach one of the organizers on the next gig and ask them the details. Narinig ko na rin yung kanta. He! He! He! I tought it was Orient Pearl pa nga e. Bon Jovi nga yung dating. Power ballad w/ an amazing guitar solo. Buti di siya sinabihang sell-out ng metal community. Quote Link to comment

Dr.Love
During my college days, our drummer's girlfriend asked us to perform for a gig in Las Pinas. Oo agad kami. Bayad is 2000 for a 30 minute set. Sabi ko, s*#t hip-hop party pala to. Yari tayo niyan. Sabay takbo kami backstage. He! He! He! Quote Link to comment

E pucha sa Cheese, magsasawa siya sa limitadong, groove-mid-tempo nitong tugtugan. pareng IMMO, i call it "phasing" sa industriya natin...marami talagang talented from the underground scene na kailangan mag sacrifice just to stay in the scene and earn some bucks and still doing what you like most...examples ng mga talentado natin musikero... Si Master Harley ng the Jerks, Rizal Under, POT at nag sesession pa sa mga show bands for japan... Same with me...langya, yung huling grupo ko ang tugtugan eh Earth Wind & Fire, Kalapana and shitty stuff like that, sige palo lang! pro dun ako naka experience ng disenteng talent fee as in per head ...pero whats important eh nandun pa din yung heart mo sa roots mo...sa origin mo...for me it would be ACID/ HEAVY METAL... Rock on! Quote Link to comment
vincypotskie
If you know these guys eh i think you know what i am trying to say...eto mga local lords of thunder for me...the rest just follows...no matter what the trend is they still stick to their passion of playing kasi yun ang gusto nila...gusto natin... sniff  rock en roll Quote Link to comment

enki
yup! may difference talaga pag pinagaralaan mo talaga yung music compared sa self-taught musicians. i think lahat sila graduates ng berklee college of music (except for the vocalist)IMHO maybe formal musical training is not that much a factor. One of DT's influences, YES (my personal favorite), only has one member with formal musical education, yet they play with the same technical proficiency. Dedication to their craft is what makes them stand out. Edited June 22, 2004 by enki Quote Link to comment
