ryujin6190
where would fedor go? the best fighters are in the UFC in my opinionToo bad, Fedor is not going to UFC. F#%k M-1 for asking too much. Wasted opportunity. Quote Link to comment
dragonei
Too bad, Fedor is not going to UFC. F#%k M-1 for asking too much. Wasted opportunity. Ang argument kasi ng management team ni Fedor is that sumikat naman siya even without fighting once in the UFC. So the think that gives them a selling power to demand that they co-promote Fedor's fights in the UFC. They want to use the opportunity kasi para sumikat M-1 to which Fedor is a co-owner. But of course, UFC knows where they stand. They know its fedor who needs the UFC, more than UFC needs Fedor. Yeah Fedor can always go abck to japan, and can fight barnett there without being hassled by athletic commissions in the US. However, they have no shot in hell of enjoying the mainstream success of the UFC. Malulugi lang sila tulad ng ibang MMA promotional companies like IFL, Pride, and lately affliction. Fedor has been offered a 30 million dollar contract for 6 fights. Thats 5 mil a fight. He wont earn this much with M-1. Quote Link to comment
riceb0i
hehehe, Fedor wanted Vadim to earn half of every UFC card he's in... Dana says not a chance hopefully this gets sorted, and Fedor and company sees the light Quote Link to comment
maddromeo
$30 million in 6 fights!? Ayaw pa talaga ni Fedor! I guess these Russians are "Crazy" Hehe... :thumbsupsmiley: Its obvious money is not the issue here! What the UFC wants is global domination! UFC=MMA as to basketball=NBA, baseball=MLB! And this is what the Russians dont want! As for them they have M-1 Global as their own MMA Org! Fedor is Fedor with or without the UFC! As much I want Fedor fighting in the UFC! I can somehow understand where he's coming from... :hypocritesmiley: Quote Link to comment

Its already in the Strikeforce homepage! M1/Strikeforce co-promotion! Well Strikeforce have co promoted before with EliteXC right!? Hope everything works out well! :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment
JustSmile=)
Strikeforce just signed their death sentence. They will survive as long as they dont feature Fedor, but when they do, im pretty sure they will lose tons of money. The good thing about Strikeforce is that they are not dependent on Fedor to sell PPV. They have stars in their roster. However, in HW, i do not think so. Hmmm.. let's see, Fedor probably signed a 3 fight deal, he still has 4 fights left with the Russian bastards M1, with the rate Fedor has been fighting - 1 fight in 9-10 months, he will probably be in his late 30's when his fullfills that contract. Then the Fedor fans can use the arguement that his past his prime. Such a shame.. and he mentioned he wants to compete at the highest level.. yeah right.. :thumbsdownsmiley: Quote Link to comment
dragonei
^^^ Many Indeed agree that this is a bad business move for Fedor. Yung gusto kasi mangyari ng M-1 is ridiculous. They want to co-promote all of fedors UFC fights and split the revenue 50-50. Of course Dana white is gonna say "go f#&k yourselves". Lets just hope malugi strikeforce gaya ng affliction at IFL Quote Link to comment

Does anybody understand what co promotion means!? they dont just split the revenue but they split the expenses as well! I dont think Strikeforce will make the same mistake the IFL, EliteXC & Affliction did. As we all know Strikeforce is the only North American MMA Org. that makes profit besides the UFC. And M-1 is developing European, Russian and Asian fighters in their part. They entered a co-promotion 3 fight deal with M-1 when Fedor fights in the Strikeforce Cage! Man I'm excited to see Fedor in the Cage! And Gegard Mousasi as well! Why not the UFC sign Aleksander Emelianenko first! He left Red Devil and M-1! Let Brock fight Aleks! And if Brock pummels the younger Emelianenko, Big Brother comes in for revenge! Hehehe... :thumbsupsmiley: I say let Fedor beat all the HW in Strikeforce and Brock Lesnar clear out the UFC HW division! Then when Fedors 3 fight deal is up with M1/Strikeforce! He will be in the UFC fighting Brock! when both cemented their statuses in a years time! Di ba mas ok? The US/casual fans will have more time to get to know who Fedor is with the CBS/Showtime exposure and Brock can gain more experience in the UFC! So when these two fight! It will be a Mega-Fight! Not just a Mega "Bucks" fight! And when they meet in the Cage We can really say that the 2 best HW's in the world will fight! :hypocritesmiley: Quote Link to comment
JustSmile=)
^^Dude I dont wanna reply to another persons post but in this case I have to.. Man! Does anybody understand what co promotion means!? they dont just split the revenue but they split the expenses as well!yeah they will split the expenses.. but the most important thing for these Russian bastards is that they will split earnings, pay per view buys, gate attendance pay, and all others. plus SF will pay Fedor a ridiculous amount of money.. just do the math, either way its negative for SF.. oh and dont forget that SF has a TV deal which they made before Fedor, im pretty sure that the Russians will not split that.. To quote Dana:"Fedor is a f---ing joke," UFC President Dana White responded Monday after learning that Emelianenko had signed with Strikeforce. “He turns down a huge deal and the opportunity to face the best in the world to fight nobodies for no money!" "I feel sorry for the real fight fans. I wanted to make the deal, but it takes two and it is very obvious Fedor doesn't want to fight the best, and doesn't give a sh-t about the fans!" But to be fair with Fedor, I think he is being controlled by these Russian bastards.. Edited August 4, 2009 by G_sKiLLz Quote Link to comment
yubiakira
if UFC really wants Fedor then give in to their demands & give what people wants.... Brock vs Fedor for the undisputed heavyweight championship. Quote Link to comment

Talo talaga ang buong UFC pag pumayag sila sa gusto ng management team ni Fedor. Kahit pa hatiin nila puhunan, the point is, paghahatian pa din nila yung kita. Unless M-1 can guarantee that they can double the current earnings of UFC by its own, then I think they are not in a position to demand such ridiculous condition. Ang laki laki na nga ng inaalok na bayad kay Fedor eh. Yeah the russian management team are really gready on this Quote Link to comment

dragonei
^^^ But if they do that theyd go bankrupt too, at masyado silang malulugi sa gusto mangyari ng M1. Its fedors management team who is out of line on this one. Aside kasi from the 30 mil contranct gusto pa nila ng co-promotion sa lahat ng laban ni fedor. Mababawasan nga ng gastos sa puhunan ang UFC, pero mababwasan din sila kita sa huli, unless M1 can guarantee that Fedor can double what UFC is earning now. Quote Link to comment
