Femme_666
this stuff e na receive ko lang sa email at sobrang naka relate ako dito, just wanna share it with you guys... ENJOY! Narito ang listahan na makapagpapatunay if you're one of us. R U? 1. (at may dialog pa!) 12. 13. Nagsayaw ka ng running man at kung anu-anong dance steps na nakapagpamukha sa'yong tanga sa saliw na kantang Ice Ice Baby, Wiggle It, Pray, at Can't Touch This. 14. Kilala mo ang Smokey Mountain, (first and second generation) 17. 21. Swerte ka kapag panghapon ka dahil masusubaybayan mo ang mga kapanapanabik na kaganapan sa mga paborito mong cartoon shows tuwing umaga tulad ng Cedie, Sarah, at Dog of Flanders a.k.a. Nelo. Alam mo ang ibig sabihin ng "TIME FIRST!" Bakit kaya ganon? Masarap alalahanin at balik-balikan. Di ba?" Quote Link to comment
storm
Kahit walang cable noon. May UHF FEN station naman galing Clark or Subic. Channel 17. Quote Link to comment

storm
On this day 21 years ago, Ninoy Aquino was shot and killed at The Manila International Airport. It was a Sunday. He used the name Marcial Bonifacio. We saw it on TV at the Yakal Residence Hall TV room. Ninoy, in case you don't know, is the father of Kris Aquino. Quote Link to comment

Anaheim
oy, pare, i still wear corduroy. nothing beats the feeling of wearing a levi's cords. hirap nga lang makahanap. I remember my red corduroy in the 1970s and my green with yellow stripe PUMA rubber shoes...pagsinuot ko na mga yon kakantahan na ako ng "Boyfriend kong Baduy". teka 80s thread to diba?... 1985. the world became aware of the AIDS menace when Rock Hudson died. 1986 - two movies i won't forget TOP GUN tom cruise..."you've lost that lovin feeling", "Take my breath away" song definitely became Top Gun's signature. another movie - ALIENS, sigourney weaver , female Rambo. siyempre 1986, historical year sa philippines - people power revolution. wala pa yang mga flyover na yan sa ortigas. mga talahiban pa nuon sa tinatayuan ng robinsons galleria. sa tropical hut pa kami kumakain nuon. Magaling
I wonder if it was ever popular here in Manila, but we used to have afternoon discos at Cebu Plaza Hotel's Bai Disco. It was usually held on Saturdays and we would give parents weird reasons for heading to school on that day. Meron din afternoon disco dito sa Manila! The most popular ones that I remember were: On top of Tia Maria's at Greenbelt (forgot the name) for the more upscale crowd AND on top of Syvels Recto (also forgot the name) for the UBelt crowd . . . Help me out here guys! Halata tuloy di ako madalas diyan eh Quote Link to comment
