Pogi ka kung kasama sa porma mo ang Sperry Topsiders, K-Swiss, Espadrilles (na pinilahan mo pa sa Whistle Stop o sa Cash and Carry), Tretorn or Dragonfly sneakers, white Spartan sneakers, argyle socks, woven leather belts, Chaser, Lacoste, Ralph Lauren at iba pa,one-size-fits- all Hanes T-shirt with the print of your favorite New Wave band, pabangong Chaps, Bowling Green, Gray Flannel or Kouros, Denman brushes, Dippity Do or Dep hair gel, Bermuda shorts worn with plaid long- sleeves.  2. Macho ka kung ang porma mo ay parang kay Don Johnson ng Miami Vice at kung naglalaro ka ng football o nag-aaral ka ng t** kwon do or marunong mag butterfly kick tulad ni Ralph Macchio sa Karate Kid. Sobrang macho ka kung may pandesal ka sa tiyan habang nakasuot ng hanging shirt.  3. Pretty ka kung meron kang pencil-cut skirt (calf-length, three to four inches above the ankle), pabangong Nenuco o De Ne Nes, permed hair a la Madonna or teased bangs na pinatigas ng Aquanet, shoulder pads ala Joan Collin a.k.a. Alexis Carrington in Dynasty), Benetton shirt, Esprit outfit at namimili ka ng gamit sa Sari-Sari, Tokyo, Hannah,Tickles and Regina's in Shoppesville.  4. mandapong Posted March 27, 2005 Share Posted March 27, 2005 question: how do we really define the 80s?who are those who really belong to the 80s or made the 80s?i know 80s na 80s ako dahil i can relate to practically everything written here pero am just curious as to who really belong in this era kumbaga if you were in high school at anytime 84-89 do you think these are the peak 80's people?i would suppose these would be people 29 - 36 years old today. exception lang siguro yung mga kabataan na may mga older bro and sis, like my cousin who is only 20 years old, he has a strong understanding of the 80s culture dahil kapatid nya and most of his cousins are from the 80s Quote Link to comment

Nasa UP ako ng mapatay si Ninoy. Nag-graduate ako ng 85.  Nasa EDSA ako ng EDSA revolution in 86. Nag work ako sandali sa UP.  Naging art dealer ako from 85-89.  I got married in 88.  Naging graphic designer ako ng 89. Panahon ng new wave and sikat na sikat ang Duran Duran, Cyndi Lauper, Spandau Ballet, Culture Club, Industry, Depeche Mode, Hall and Oates, Michael Jackson, B52, General Public, Bananarama, AHA, ABC, The Cure, Smiths, David Bowie, Queen, Psychedelic Furs, Tears for Fears, Michael Learns to Rock, Mike Francis, ZZTop, Cars, Wang Chung, Huey Lewis and the News, siempre si Prince, Milli Vanilli, Billy Idol, pati si MC Hammmer at o sige na nga pati si Madonna.
