The Emerald Autograph will always be the better release and will always command top dollar, IMO.. Why? Nagkalat ang 96-97 Autographics.. The 97-98 and the 98-99 Autographics are tougher to find than the 96-97, that I can attest to.. You still got the best card of all the GH33 autos, IMO, pare.. :cool: sa Beckett Online... A player's retirement does not really have much impact on the value of his cards.. Performance, championships and death are sure-ball impact makers.. Yun nga lang, I only know of 4 certified Hill autographs.. Kakaunti nga.. His recent plays and the rarity of his autographs are fueling the demand for it right now.. Plus the fact that he is considered a big name player in our generation.. And unlike Penny who just gave up, Hill continued his struggles and whenever he plays, he plays with the same passion and intensity much like when he was being billed as the savior after MJ's first retirement.. The problem here is that, Grant Hill might ink some autographs in the future (we will never know, right?) and if he does his other autographs might receive down arrows (IMO).. or might just be stable.. Kasi autograph collectors would now have the opportunity to own a Hill auto without having to shell too much dough.. Still, his emerald auto most likely be a staple auto of Hill for a long time.. Much like Duncan's autographics or Iverson's Epic Signature.. And the good thing about that is that you already have it.. A really prized possesion that we should really cherish. Thanks About ups and downs of arrows, I really understand what you mean guys but its the card really that matters. Take for instance the CO-signers that I have (all four of them!) The Drexler/Hardaway cost $400 before and now its down to $250 and the I got two Drexler/Olajuwon which Cost $300 before is now down to $150 and the Drexler/HOward which was $80 before is now not listed maybe about $40. BUt hey, those cards are very rare! And I 'm glad that I got those way backBy the way, Dshock, I recently got a 98 SP authentic Buyback. Although just looking at the price list is kinda discouraging because obviously there are still so many Drexler cards that I don't have! Especially the unpriced and limited numbered ones! hehe But it is also encouraging to know that there are still cards that will keep me alive chasing. I recently went to Vertu's house (siya din si Gobio for the old posters here - had a change of name).. and I was able to get pictures of some of his collections.. Nalula ako sa ganda ng mga cards niya.. Hindi lang cards mga dudes.. He has Upper Deck authenticated autographed jerseys (full jerseys ha!) of Jordan and Lebron.. I think I have posted some pictures of his old collection here before but cam phone lang gamit dun.. at madami bago dito.. Eto digicam na.. Enjoy!!! How much are these collections worth?
