Who Is Into Scale Modelling?

Minihobby Models is also by Trumpeter, it seems to be their low-end brand kaya cheap lang yan. I was able to get a 1/48 Hind for less than P400 so I bought the two versions. Did I ever mention that I have about 600+ unbuillt kits? My wife thinks I'm a scale model kit collector and that I should be posting on the colletors thread.

Sir how come you have so many pero d mo naman binubuo.....

Seven reasons:

1. I have AMS (advanced modelers syndrome).

2. I am fond of multiple projects.

3. I have work.

4. I have a life.

5. I go online.

6. Some three letter words are better than K I T.

7. I didn't know I have to finish them.

Ako din! Meron din akong AMS! hehehe

Kailangan nga ng malakas na will power para hindi pumasok sa tindahan ni Winston. Meron pa naman siyang mga bagong dating. hehehe

Anong AMS?????

It's like this, I choose a kit to build, but then I have to decide what version do I build - OOB? Backdate? Update? What theater? Whose tank, plane? What particular period? Once this is decided, I go to research. Search the net, books, magazines for pix of the vehicle. Ooops! Have to get the proper decals, maybe a resin cockpit/turret would look good, what about photoetch, what is available? Scratchbuild the details na rin, use stretched sprues, wires, knickknacks etc., look for the proper tools, where's my dremel and pin vise? What about the paint, do I have it or can I buy it? All that before I take a single part off the sprues!

By the time I actually start working on it, a few months have passed. While waiting for the glue to dry, there must be something I can work on. Wait, there's this other kit in my stash, well, it goes like a vicious cycle so I can have about 6 things going on at once. Maybe you get the idea...

Sorry for the pics. By the way I use an airbrush to paint my kits, Mr Color paints by Gunze Sangyo and Tamiya Cements to seal the kits.

Nice paint job!!! I want to do a similar camo scheme for a Scorpion tank in 1/35, the urban camo scheme that the PSG uses. Galing!
