JesusFreak!
Are you serious? well, personally, dynamic stretching works well for me and some calisthenics<{POST_SNAPBACK}>what i mean is pre-workout stretching... experience wise, i thnk it is... i felt something is wrong pag di ako napag stretch.. parang kinakalawang yung mga joints. Pepeng Manas
for me, 3 mins treadmill, then stretch, lift weights, 1 hour cardio, stretch again. some times i do 1 hour cardio first then lift weights. yup, ako rin... we can just try in things and if they fail, abandon it and try new ones... di ba? yep, tama yan. if it fails, try new ones. but if it fails, it doesnt mean it will not work for others. i've been doing a lot of research from the net, and books. kahit doon nagkokontrahan talaga mga programs at beliefs nila. para dun sa mga veterans na sa fitness arena na nagpopost dito, keep up lang pagbibigay ng advices at mga views nyo. we're listening. if it doesn't work for us, then we'll try others' advice. peace. Equus
yung feeling na nagkakalawang is really kulang sa warmup... sometimes i do up to 3 sets of warmup to properly oil my joints... especially during a heavy lifting session... madalang yung full stretch... although sometimes i have one day wherein all i do is stretch... it becomes like a work out... full body stretch day... sobrang pawis ka rin pag nag concentrate ka lang sa stretching.. I remember now... sabi sa akin ng instructor ko dati, warm up is really important... stretching is optional kasi it just improves muscle flexibility and during those times na feeling ko kinakalawang ako, di rin ako nagwa-warm up... dj25
i agree, dapat maging open minded tayo sa bawat suggestion dito.if the program does not work for you, look for another program.ako nga gusto ko ring i-try yung taebo, yoga, TABATA (correct ba) and many others. kasi hindi lang naman sa paggym mo makuha ang body na gusto natin.dapat eclectic approach para mas maraming option.kung baga sa pagkain dapat ibat ibang putahe para hindi nakakasawa. Eclipseguy
obviously you havent been to a 10k run or a marathon before.. have you have seen those lead pack guys on a 10k run? those are all bones and muscles.. no fat.. now.. i could give you lots of examples of fat sprinters (that includes me before as gold medalist sprinter) .. or fat wrestlers, or fat pig like power lifters.. i dont wanna argue anymore because i would rather waste my mind thinking about important things than trying to meet your IQ level..<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why do you continue to lie? Again, this is a thread on how to look like a model. I am a model for IKON, fitness models, in Makati. Call Woody at their office if you don't believe me. Many of my coaches and members are models as well. Most of them became models after our training. Come see us at 2126 Mabini St. at Eclipse. Please. And no, I'm not going to accept your cowardly counter-challenge until you complete my challenge first. Once you complete my challenge, then I'll glady complete yours with you, immediately after you complete mine. That's what a real man does. Ooops....but then again, you probably won't be standing anymore after the URCC part :boo: You won't show up. Call first, and I promise I'll be there if (you won't) you arrive. You won't. How old are you anyway? 14? Present an ID since I don't want to slap around a kid. Fat power lifters...that's funny, seeing how you have no muscle tone at all. If you did, you wouldn't talk so much smack and resort to "trying to meet" our IQ levels....as if there were enough brain drugs for you to take to make you think on our level. Also, when you are disabled after all of that runnning, I'll be the bigger man and rehab you like I've done many other runners. I won't even laugh at you. Seriously. Quote Link to comment
Wyld
Challenges issued by people posting here, while still related (by a very thin thread) to the topic of building a model body only serve to agitate people all the more. Please... make your arrangements to meet up and complete those challenges using your PM functions. Further posts relating to the scheduling of the said activity will be deleted. Thank you. Eclipseguy
I'm gonna suspend any comment I really wanna throws since I know we're being monitored and it would cause more harm to have a thread closed because of someone who wants to turn this into a pissing contest... as far as I know, you can rock me but you can't knock me since whatever I teach has been tested since I've used them and I've trained people that way. There's more than one way to skin a cat and I'm always looking for the most optimalway to train... for those who always claim my style is wrong, let me just say this... name me ONE just ONE aerobic event athlete who is well built... Lance Armstrong, great athlete and cancer survivor but not well built... our marathon runners and the NY marathon winners, they look like they have to be fed... on the othr hand, name me any sprinter, NFL defensive back, lightweight powerlifter, olympic lifter, MMA fighters such as Frank Shamrock, Ricardo Arona and swimmer who isn't well built as I always say get facts straight before distorting them... now for the admin and mods reading this thread.. I've said my case,.. I'll go back to answering queries here and keeping peace. please be wary of "trolls" on this thread who have done nothing but bash from the start<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Indeed. We have children fighting with strength and conditioning specialists here. It's hard to address serious questions when the teenies and inexperienced trainers (such as physical therapists) can't keep their mouth shut. Their opinions cannot be backed up by fact or experience and it undermines and distracts the reader. The topic at hand was how to build a model body, implying how to build a "bench" or underwear model body. Obviously, for women, that entails something different, but if they ask it, we'll respond. Since, if not all, posters here are men, we should consider issues from the male perspective. We are a couple of strength and conditioning specialists at a mainstream fitness center that cater to LaSalle U (by vacinity) as well as the general public. If the mods don't like the way this thread is going, be clear in who is here to address, with respect to actual content, the question at hand. Quote Link to comment

I leave it to the best judgment of the MEN in this thread to figure that out. If you know you did nothing wrong then it should be pretty obvious that the warning wasnt for you right? Equus
The warning was for me! heeheeheehee!!! In any case, i think that we will get past this and we can have another line of constructive criticisms and creative battering for the benefit of everyone in this thread... Quote Link to comment
