  1. Guys, a word of caution for all you P1i users. There are known stylus issues with the P1i such as it breaking and potentially getting stuck inside the stylus holder.

What happened in my case was the tip of my stylus got detached from the other end and it got stuck inside the holder. Not knowing what to do, I called Sony Ericsson's customer service up this morning to ask for assistance. They referred me to their authorized service centers, Semicon. I called up Semicon and talked to a lady who said I could bring my unit over for inspection. I asked if it would take days to fix, would they issue me a service unit? She put me on hold to clarify. When she got back, she told me that there was no way for them to resolve my issue as there was no way to get the tip of the stylus out of the holder even if they opened my unit. Disappointed, I hung up. But I know there was still a way to get it out so I searched the web and found this site: http://www.p1iblog.com/2007/11/quality-iss...ing-stylus.html The stylus holder is indeed accessible from the back with the battery removed. I just used the tip of a scissor to push the stylus tip out and I was able to get it out!

I'm planning to call back Semicon later today and tell them how a bunch of feeble-minded morons they are!

  2. I also received a payment thru Pay Pal recently. I was thinking of options to withdraw the money but the only possible way is to have the amount from Pay Pal credited to your credit card. However, once its credited to the card, di mo rin mawi-withdraw yun as cash kasi lalabas na payment yun sa card mo. So what I did was just used the money in my Pay Pal account to purchase items online.

Kaso I forgot all about eBay and how Pay Pal is the most preferred payment option there. Dapat pala dun ko na lang ginamit. It's a convenient payment option kasi to small-time businesses na wala pang credit card option tsaka sa mga sellers.

Now here's my dillema, how do I add funds to my Pay Pal account? I clicked on the link in Pay Pal and wala pa atang option na ganito sa Pinas. Kasi pag click ko sa link e dapat galing sa US-based checking account galing yung funds. Can someone tell me otherwise?

  3. @jokelang: I'm sorry to hear that, dude. So far naman wala akong problema sa P1i ko. Di ako nagsisisi na heto yung binili kong mobile phone. Maski hirap sa pag-text ok lang. Nasasanay na ako sa pag-gamit ng stylus sa pag-txt. One thing that I like this phone is kaunti lang ang kapareho kong meron nito. Iba pa rin yung feeling exclusive. :thumbsupsmiley:

  4. Epixtar...no I didn't worked there but I researched about it and talagang poor management and poor compensation will always be an issue in this company. A lot of agents sued themand then this company promises to increase their salary and the usual BS.

Try PeopleSupport, Accenture, Convergys...they are the top players of the call center industry now, if I'm not mistaken.

Ang jologs pa ng mga empleyado ng Epixtar. :thumbsdownsmiley:

eTelecare beats all those call centers that you mentioned. :headsetsmiley:

  5. Motorola E398. I've had it for two years and I'm about to hand it down to my brother since I'm up for retention again with Smart. Problem is di magaganda ang phone units ng Smart for retention these days and ang mahal pa ng cash out for my plan.

  6. guys,

most of the things we love to listen right now are not available here locally, this is bs, this is frustrating...is there a store where we could buy these stuff?

I gave up hope a long time ago that metal albums would get a proper release here. :thumbsdownsmiley:

The only recourse is to order them online. That's how I've been getting my metal for the past five years. :thumbsupsmiley:

  7. New Order is considered by some as one of the pioneers of trance/techno although the band was largely considered a new wave band.

These are my Top 10 favorite tracks from New Order in the 80s:

    1. Thieves Like Us [single; also appears in Substance]

    2. Blue Monday (the remix is titled The Beach) [album: Power, Corruption and Lies; Substance]

    3. The Perfect Kiss (the remix is titled Kiss Of Death) [album: Low-Life; Substance]

    4. Bizarre Love Triangle [album: Brotherhood; Substance]

    5. Love Vigilantes [album: Low-Life]

    6. 1963 [b-Side of True Faith single; also appears in Substance]

    7. True Faith [album: Substance]

    8. Shell-Shock [soundtrack: Pretty in Pink; album: Substance]

    9. Temptation [EP: 1981-1982; also appears in Substance]

    10. Touched By The Hand Of God [single]

New Order is one of my favorite bands from the new wave era as well. My top 10 songs from them are the following, though not in order:

  8. bro, di mo pa na kwento si michael haket of anejo rhum, nag score ng 107 points.si chip engeland at dennis steel din....sarap lang maalala.bro, di mo pa na kwento si michael haket of anejo rhum, nag score ng 107 points.si chip engeland at dennis steel din....sarap lang maalala.

Dude, correction lang, 103 points ang record na nagawa ni Michael Hackett. This was broken by Tony "Hurricane" Harris ng Swift years later when he scored 105 points.

  9. 1985 - Hell Awaits :thumbsupsmiley:

1988 - South Of Heaven :thumbsupsmiley:

1989 - Seasons in the Abyss :thumbsupsmiley:

    Slayer :goatee:

Why the glaring ommission of 1986's "Reign in Blood", arguably the best thrash metal album ever? Haven't you heard of that album? And Seasons in the Abyss was released in 1990, not 1989.
