Masyado ding big-deal yung hindi pag-accept ng 2nd place throphy.. Kahit ako hindi ako lalabas dahil may kaunti nman akong pride na naitatago.. Kukunin ko yung trophy para lamang i-boo ng mga Atenista.. Puno ang Araneta ng mga Atenista sa start pa lang ng game.. What more after the game, di ba? It was a tough loss for Pumaren's squad, and accepting the 2nd place trophy accompanied by jeers and boos from the crowd would make any person's heart falter.. Is that cowardice? IMO, its not.. Its pride.. And I understand them..
I am still congratulating Ateneo.. I respect their championship.. Heck! I studied my Masterals in Ateneo, therefore, I believe in their system.. But to jeer and to push while we are down, is just plain un-Atenean.. Again, real Ateneans do not push while the opponent is down, they are "men for others.." They actually lift the spirits of their fallen enemy to fight another great battle in another time..

Your post was okay kaso nga lang medyo na-contradict mo sarili mo when you said na Ateneans would boo DLSU if they received their trophies pero sa last paragraph sabi mo naman sabi mo real Ateneans do not push while their opponents are down. If you really believed this last statement then you wouldn't mention the possible scenario of Ateneans jeering your team just to rationalize why they (Green Archer team) didn't claim their awards.
Oh well, I'd say it was an anti-climactic end to a series that the Eagles would eventually win.

I agree, the refs spoiled this game. Puede nang i-let go yung nangyari kay Maierhoffer. Wala namang nakapansin if ever nag-drity finger man si Rico. Mas lalong na magnify nung tinawagan ng ref.

However, you should not forget Chris Tui. What was amazing about sunday's game was how handily Ateneo beat La Salle with Chris Tui being a non-factor due to non-fouls called on him. Watch out for Chris in his last game in the UAAP.

I didn't have internet access since Sunday kasi my PC was out for repairs. When I got my PC back yesterday, I discovered that I couldn't connect to the net. Tawag ako sa 173, spoke to a rep and found out that there was an issue with the optical lines of PLDT in the east (Cainta, Antipolo area) since Tuesday. Nag-up lang ang network nitong Friday morning.
I'm wondering if PLDT will give rebates to their customers for time without service? Four days din yun a.
