  1. My hard drive was partitioned into two: a C: Drive for the OS and other systems and a D: Drive for data storage. In addition to this, I have an older hard drive which I use for storage also, an E: drive and F: Drive. Most of my new data is saved in D.

Anyway, I just discovered this morning that my D drive is missing or at least the PC is not detecting it. Mp3s that I stored in this drive cannot be played by iTunes anymore since it cannot find it.

    1) What happened and where the heck is my D drive?

    2) Can I still recoved the files saved in it?

    3) How can I restore my D drive?

  4. I have a question, is the 13th month pay taxable? I seem to remember that only 13th month pay that is in excess of 30k is taxable. And I know that in the previous years, employees in our companies who earned 30k and below did not have their 13th month pay taxed. Now, our payroll is saying that the 30k exemption covers all bonuses for the year not only 13th month pay. We have a quarterly bonus kasi with our company which is up to 25% of your salary depending on your performance. But when that was paid out, we were already taxed for it. So my questions are:

    1) Is 13th month pay considered a bonus? Isn't this mandated by law and thus should not be considered a bonus?

    2) Is our company's payroll correct in adding our quarterly bonuses along with the 13th month pay for the 30k non-taxable exemption? Why should it still be added when we were already taxed for it when it was paid out?

  5. TGI Fridays just opened a branch at the Ayala Center in Cebu last week. Halatang bagito pa yung staff nila. Yung host kinuha yung order namin and then I saw this Caucasian waitress (who was obviously training them) whisk him off and overheard her say "You're a host not a server, let the servers handle the table".

And then ang tagal i-serve yung order ko. My companions were not eating their food kasi hinihintay yung sa akin. We noticed that the other customers who came after us, had their food served. I just insisted on my friends to not wait for me anymore. After a few more minutes, my food was finally served. And then to cap my bad experience with TGI Fridays-Ayala Cebu, my Coke was refilled with Ice-T. Tsk, tsk. Not a great way to launch a new branch.

  7. Hey, has anyone heard the news about the new Tax Exemption brackets? I won't be surprised if you didn't coz I habe not read it in the papers nor seen it in the news. But the company I work for has issued a memo stating that the new Tax Exemption brackets will soon be in effect and retroactive to July of this year. Basically what will happen is that the status of Head of the Family will be abolished and tax payers will only either be bracketed under Single or Married.

    Reactions?

  9. Mr. Jesse Paredes? isn't he too old (HS 54) to be getting himself involved in such juvenile acts?!!!

In my opinion, it is not the very honorable Fr. Nebres who should "extend (the apology) to parties..." In owing up to this despicable act, Mr. Paredes himself should be the one apologizing to THE ENTIRE LA SALLIAN COMMUNITY!!!

I agree that he should personally apologize to the La Sallian community for his actions.

As far as his age goes, bakit ilang taon ba si Manny Salgado nung 'batok-takbo' incident nya with Arwind Santos? Isn't that equally, if not moreso juvenile as well? Look at yourself in the mirror. Basta lang kasi may mabato eh....
