2nd is sa sogo North Edsa. There is a Mini-Stop just beside it. Pag pasok mo ng Ministop, on the right side, merong glass door na frosted. pag pasok mo sa pinto na un, nasa loob ka na ng Sogo.

One thing is you can rent a Taxi then pababa ka sa loob. Then straight to Reception area.

It's never a good idea to shit where you eat. Rule of thumb is kung mag momotmot kayo ni GF, dun sa motel na malayo sa school nyo para the chances na may makakita sa inyo is low. And never sa tabi ng school nyo, jusko! At least man lang magpalit kayo ng damit at wag pumasok sa motmot/apartelle ng naka-uniform. Baka suot nyo pa ID nyo ah. He he.

I'm addicted to collecting audio compact discs. Yeah streaming is the in thing nowadays but I still prefer physical media. I've wanted to cull my collection and sell some of my stuff but I'm half hearted in doing it 'coz I don't want to part with my essential titles. Yung mga hindi naman essential, hindi ko din ma-disptach 'coz hindi mabenta. But I'm thinking this is what gives me joy. So instead of wasting my money on gambling, drugs or heavy drinking, dito na lang.

My generation was the '90s but my childhood was in the '80s. Mas gusto ko ang '80s. From the music, movies, and cultural standpoint. But living in the Philippines was hard at the time. Bagsak ang ekonomiya under Marcos (despite what his son's troll farm insist on telling you), magulo dahil sa mga rally at welga and nung naging Cory admin na, may mga coup d'etat naman na pilit syang patalsikin. 

LBJ is the better athlete but Bird is more clutch and a more intelligent player so my vote goes to Larry Legend.

In no particular order:

Lotsa Pizza - basic and mura. Pero nasasarapan talaga ako sa pizza nila maski simple lang ang flavor at ingredients. Nalungkot ako nung nakita kong nagsara na yung branch na malapit sa amin. 

3M Pizza - parang nag-iba ang lasa ng pizza nila nung kumain ako recently compared sa huling kain ko back in the 2000's. Naalala ko halos pareho 'to ng Lotsa Pizza dati pero ngayon hindi na. Mas masarap ang Lotsa Pizza.

Magoos Pizza - ever since the pandemic naging mailap ang Magoos sa akin. Nag sara yung branch na malapit sa amin. When it re-opened, hindi pa ako nakabalik. Dapat kakain ako dito nung isang araw. Ang kaso 12pm pa ang open nila, mga 11:57am ako dumating. At wala pa daw dumadating na crew so next time na lang. Yung 'All the Stuff' ang madalas ko orderin dito.

Yellow Cab Pizza - Four Seasons and NY's Finest Pizza. Nagasgas ang lalamunan ko sa kakakain nito noong 200o's. Heto madalas na orderin namin sa office noon.

Shakey's - the classic thin crust pizzas. Heto yung kinalakihan kong pizza nung kabataan ko. 

Pizza Hut - yung stuffed crust pizza nila either with sausage or cheese. Sulit yung buy one take on pizza nila for 599.

Angel's Pizza - Creamy Spinach Dip di ko gusto dati pero  nasarapan din ako dito eventually.

Sbarro's - Chicago Deep Dish is the obvious choice to get here.

Greenwich - nagbago ang lasa ng pizza nila. Didn't eat her for sometime and I tried it recently, okay lang naman pero sya ang last option ko pag kakain ako sa major pizza chains.

Papa John's - I ate this a lot when I lived in China. Pansin ko lang parang iba ang lasa ng Papa Johns sa Philippines compared sa China. Mas nasarapan ako sa China.

Dominos - matagal na ako huling nakakain dito, ita-try ko na sana uli kaso sarado na yung branch na malapit sa amin.  

Obvious ba na mahilig ako sa pizza?

Regarding sa discount card, hindi ka matic na bibigyan. Kailangan mong hingin either sa reception or sa boy pag nag check out ka, kung garage room yung kwarto mo.

Naalala ko nung college ako nung '90s hanggang sa working na ako nun mid '00s, lampaso palagi ang Ateneo sa La Salle. Suerte na kung makasingit ng isang panalo sa dalawang match up nila sa isang UAAP season. Ang battle cry nga namin noon is "matalo na sa lahat, wag lang sa La Salle". Nakasingit ng isang championship noon 2002 pero nakabawi din agad ang La Salle sa panalo nung mga sumunod na season. Pero simula nung 2008 hanggang ngayon, mas malakas na ang Ateneo. Nakagawa na sila ng system sa pag-recruit at pagdagdag sa pipeline ng mga high school players na papalit sa mga pa-graduate nilang players. Sayang at dahil sa Covid, hindi nakapaglaro si Dwight Ramos sa Ateneo. If Tab Baldwin continues to coach the Blue Eagles, patuloy pa rin sila magdodominate sa UAAP at tatalunin ang La Salle. 

Ever since nagkaroon ako ng Smart TV, nawalan na ako ng gana manood ng cable TV. Tapos last year, pinull out pa ng Disney and Fox channels sa Sky Cable. Iniisip ko nga na paputol na ang cable TV subscription namin. 

Wala na rin kasi ang mga favorite cable TV channels ko from before like Jack TV, BTV, Studio 23, AXN Beyond at Wowow. 

Disappointing final season. So sad na after ng build up e ganun ang kalalabasan. Mas malungkot din kasi hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin lumalabas yung next book sa A Song of Ice and Fire na "Winds of Winter". At may kasunod pa dapat yun na final book. Baka pumanaw na lang si GRRM hindi nya pa rin malalalabas 'tong mga 'to,

Succession, it's on HBO but I downloaded all 3 seasons na 'coz hindi ko nasundan at nakalimutan ko na.

Ozark season 4. The first half of the final season (7 episodes) is already streaming on Netflix. Panoorin ko 'to pagkatapos ko sa Succession.

The Book of Boba Fett - medyo boring at lampas na nang kalahati ng season eh puro flashback ang ganap.

Peacemaker - from The Suicide Squad, solo TV series ng character ni John Cena. Nakakatawa at bayolente tulad nung movie.

I just paid our household's PLDT bill and my credit card bill today. But then I realized sa February pa pala due ang PLDT bill and ang dapat ko pala binayaran is my Smart bill. Hay nako! Signs of aging!

Ah okay, discounted rates na pala yan. Akala ko biglang mas nag mura ang rates nila e. What I mean sa vaccination card is pag prinisent mo ito, bibigyan ka 30% discount sa room, same discount if you use your discount card. Pero hindi naman sya required before. This January, mukhang required na.

As of kailan 'tong rate na to? Nung last na punta ko sa Sogo Santolan last December, nasa 700+ ang regular room for 3 hours and if you present a discount card or your vaccination card, may 30% discount kaya nagiging 500+ pesos ang short time sa regular room. 

Update sa Red Mango sa may Marikina/Lower Antipolo area, nagtaas na sya ng rate. Yung dating 500 for 4-hours short time, 600 na ngayon. And hinahanapan na nila ng vaccination card yung mga magchec-checkin.

Wala pong parking ang Sogo Cubao Edsa. Better to park in a safe and secure location and lakarin na lang papunta dun.
