shooter bro, medyo nd ako comfortable mag-download sa mga sites ng independent developers eh... medyo risky... there are lots of trojan programs being written nowadays and market it for free because they are being used to access personal information... still, thanks for the info... trusted site ba un???

i trust the site ... so far there's nothing wrong with the PC's that I used the program eh ... I'm only using it just to see how fast is the CPU of the PC I'm using ... it also can give u a little info about your mobo and the peripherals installed.

Did u overclocked your CPU?

It's true na when ur CPU is heated ... its speed will be lowered ... same thing with other boards na when the CPU is hot ... saka lang aandar yung fan.

nope... i didn't and i don't want to mess up with it... hirap na baka magloko eh, ma-compromise pa trabaho... hehehe...

actually it's my suspect before and slowly i'm proving i'm right... hehehe...

also experienced this type of problem but narrowed it down to 2 causes.

1. xp was not always properly shut down (due to brown out problems etc.)

2. defective memory/dirty memory slot on motherboard.

actually ganito kasi nangyari:

From what you said, it doesn't not look like estafa. Estafa requires kaliwaan. Meaning, from the very beginning, you were out to defraud the victim, in this case, the phone company.

If you had a good paying history prior to "giving" your sim, then you will not probably be sued criminally for estafa. That rarely happens naman.

But against your relative, you may have a cause of action against him. Since you have the bills and if you can prove that you were out of the country during the time he made those calls, you can ask him to pay for those bills. It would be unfair for you to pay for his calls. But it is not worth filing an actual case. Just use his conscience if he has one. Even if you pay the bill yourself, you can still run after him for paying his debt.

As to the phone company, they only know you as the user. You can't make your relative as an excuse in not paying the phone bills. I don't want to say pay it first, but if you do, you will look good with the phone company. I am not sure about this but I think the phone companies share info on deliquent users. It is good to have a good credit history. Bad bill payments could haunt you in the future.

before they would call us and even harass us when lumalagpas kami sa limit mga (8T)......

so i asked them to notify me whenever lalagpas na and that they may block the NDD IDD feature kung lagpas na nga.....

wala namang naging problema after a few months.....

this month umabot ng (7T)......

wala naman akong/kaming natanggap na notification......

ang notifying the client is one of their SOPs na hindi ko natanggap....

mga boss i'm due to pay this 24th.

appreciate an answer before that.....

I just connected another computer to our network and I assigned an IP address to it already but it can't see shares across the network nor find computers in the workgroup. It worked with the network before. I'm using XP Pro in all of them. Please help!

1) does it concern all the computers or the one the you just recently connected?

2) haven't really tried using XP as OS but check the following:

- physical connection; lan card, cables, orientation of RJ 45 (should be the same with others)

-- try loop back ping, if you have a cable tester mas ok..

- check if you have the same workgroup, domain with others, IP address (subnet mask)

- check network sharing properties

3) kapag ayaw pa eh d ko na alam yan...

Actually I can surf the internet with the new computer using proxy software in the server but I can't access the shares in the other computers. In other words, the new computer has access to the network. Just not the workgroup. the name of the workgroup is the same for all of the computers and I can search for the new computer from another one already in the network. It just isn't accessible both ways. Something about permissions but it's strange since I already assigned passwords and I have fewer than 10 users.

1. what is th OS of your server?

2. you say something about permissions? try to check sa Active Directory for win2k servers...check all settings there regarding permissions in sharing to other computers..

3. try to reboot the system, pati na rin yung server kung possible..sometimes naka-experience din ako ng ganyan eh..reboot lang ako ok na.. ;)

Tuseran,

your facts are a bit incomplete. But from you have said, you can't really demand an apology for them not calling you. If you demand such, they can always claim that your prior instruction was received without authority or the person who received it has moved on.

But I know that you have a credit limit and if they let you pass that, its there fault for allowing your amount to pass the limit. If you use that angle, you might have a "moral" edge to demand they monitor your account as they should.

But if you have been a long time subscriber and your average monthly bills are way above your credit limit, ask them to raise it or else you will move to the other phone company.

Hope that helps.

thanks boss.....

i was supposed to pay the damn bill today but opted to wait for your answer.

i'll pay them tom....

"moral" obligation of a company???? not too much to cling on to.

instead of asking for a high account limit, we actually requested for our account limit to be brought down.

when i complained, i was asking for a service acknowledgement number but wala daw silang ganon.

be assured na lang daw ako na they will take notice sa aming bill.

haaaaayyy. 7T for a phone bill is d nakakatuwa....

anyway thanks for the advice......

I tried rebooting. Both the server and the new computer. the server detects the new onethrough a search and by browsing the workgroup. I can't browse or search for other computers with the new computer tho. I don't get it...

Haven't used XP nowadays but I think I know ur problem already ...

Since you can find ur new computer in other workstations ... then your new computer is already attached to your local network ... try opening the Network connections and view the Entire Network ... if nothing shows up ... there's a link on the left side that say's something like ... "View Entire Netowrk" ... it will then ask you for a confirmation of your request ... Hope this helps ... ciao!

i think sagittarius fits that position... inform ko sya about this...

ok.... i read something kaso nasa bahay yung URL yup...rated and actual speeds nga yun... pero sabi dun kahit ganun yung rating nang actual spped hindi naman affected talaga yung performance kasi less than .5 seconds lang nang yayari (actually microns nga yung ekek sa site eh) .. wala performance issue so don't worry about it...sa chip manufacturers daw nanggaling yung "bug" if u consider it a bug.
