Larry
sana si brandon vera magkaroon ng ufc payperview main event... the rumor is that this might happen sooner than most people think, but nothing definite as of the moment, as Brandon still has contract problems with UFC mirko is a lot faster than chuck, way better reflex i just dont see him beating crocop mirko is faster, stronger, and longer than chuck. Plus he has tons of experience fighting world class strikers. Fedor is a robot, you can't beat a robot unless you turn his key to off or take out the nuclear powered batteries. Fedor = RIP chuck Quote Link to comment
rudepnoy4
ladies and gentlemen pride is SOLD to the feritita bros this means we will see mega matchups hendo vs A silva crocop vs fedor , chuck vs wandy chuck vs shogun and so on but this gonna suck in long term because theres no more competion cheap pay for the fighters i just hope dana doesnt handle pride , imagine him telling fedor, if i tell you to hold that f#&kin xyience can you will hold it so you wanna be a f#&kin fighter or what hahaha. Larry
^^^disregard From Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer: --Nobuyuki Sakakibara yesterday told several members of the U.S. Pride staff that the company is in the proces of being sold to Lorenzo & Frank Fertitta. He said the agreement in principal is done but there are still some minor points to be worked out and the contract is not signed. Sakakibara said he would be leaving the company but that everyone would be keeping their jobs. The company would be operated separately from UFC, but obviously UFC could use any Pride fighter for a big match that it needed. not yet official but it's as good as done. Quote Link to comment
Larry
knew this would happen: also in the WWE thread --K-1, ProElite and Showtime have a press conference on Tuesday morning to announce their combined show at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum featuring Brock Lesnar's MMA debut against Choi Hong-man. At the press conference at 10:30 a.m. will be Choi, Lesnar, Royce Gracie, Johnnie Morton (former USC football star), Sadaharu Tanikawa (CEO of K-1), Doug DeLuca (CEO of ProElite) and Ken Hershman (Senior VP of Showtime) Lesnar should do well, he's built for it and he was division I wrestler in college, hopefully he does better than Ron Waterman. I totally agree with you my friend. But as it is in any sport, money talks! And it talks big time! If the fans and networks wants to see this match and are willing to shell out millions and even billions of dollars to get tickets, pay per view and exclusive rights to show this fight...anything is possible! heheheh!
