Duterte's Presidency : Expectations, Controversies, Rants, Etc.

Photo op or not, such gesture is not meant for the viewing public. It is to console for those who are in grief. Barking/praising behind computer will not do any good. Let us do our part and not be divided in times when our own countrymen are suffering. Most importantly, let us be vigilant so as not to have another casualty.

anong burned dyan? anong konek??? me masabi lang?

basa basa din pag may time..

burned

ok... ipagmalaki mo yung 2 days licensing mo kahit noong panahon ni GMA ay same day (matter of minutes to an hour) lang nakukuha nyan.

by the way, yung lisensya ko, 3 months na wala pa rin... sorry na lang yung mga nag apply nung june 2016 before maging presidente si Duterte?

i feel bad sa davao... this should not happened if no "war" is happening.

the problem with us is we support a war and yet, we feel bad when there are casualties.

ask yourself, why are there "terrorist attacks"? do these so-called "terrorists" see the same thing we do?

sabi nga ni Francis M, "YOU CANT TALK PEACE AND HAVE A GUN."

this makes sense a lot.

if we want peace, it should start with us.

Appeal to emotion ba ang peg ngayon?

you call the critics "monster"? look at mirror first... baka kayo ang monster for thinking na kayo lang ang tama.

again, i am not cheering the davao blast. i am mad that it has come to this. pare-pareho tayong mali dito. LAHAT TAYO MALI.

by the way, anong masasabi mo sa pagbigay ng 50M ni digong sa Abu Sayyaf? hindi kaya dun din galing yung pinang-bomba sa davao?

So now you wanna blame the declaration of war for this terror attack in davao? Tell me, if we stop the war against abu sayaff or drugs, will that make us safer from terrorist? Remember this is not the first time Davao has been blasted. And this country also had experienced various terror attacks in the past administration. Tapos ngayon yun declaration of war ni Duterte sisisihin natin?

In fact ano bang bansa ang ligtas sa terorismo ngayon?

As for peace, this administration has worked harder than the previous admins to have a working peace process with the NPA, MNLF, and MILF. But Abu Sayaff? Tapos ngayon sisihin mo declaration of war nya?

kaya nga sabi ko, if we support a war, prepare tayo for casualties. ganun talaga ang buhay,

no, that is not my point. ang sabi ko lang, lahat tayo mali... kaya nga may gyera at namamatay dahil sa ating lahat.

kung noon pa ay nipped in the bud ang ASG, wala na silang pwersa to do atrocities like these.

andito na tayo, malakas na sila, marami na sila.... we have to declare war, so let us expect casualties from both sides.

From what I understand, PRRD told the media that ASG was paid P50M. But he did not mentioned who or where the money came from. Malacanang clarified the following day that they cannot prevent the family from paying ransom to ASG. Why the faulty generalization that PRRD is funding ASG? If not PRRD, should we blame the family in the hope of saving the life of their beloved since they are in the middle of the cross fire?

The thing is Duterte aimed to make peace with everyone, sayang nga hindi naman sya dyos na kaya milagrohin lahat at minsan ganun talaga sasablay decisions mo.

On other hand...... We might be getting ahead of ourselves dito.

Eitherway, we are at war already before any declaration has been made. The way I see it, we were already having casualties before. Now we really have to fight this war.

The rest that you said, tama ka. Talagang may magiging casualties and we can't complain. Ganun talaga ang buhay nga but can we afford to be cowards at this point?

And btw its still the family has the final say, the govt. can only advice and persuade the family involved on their decision.

Ang pagkakaiba ngayon hindi ito ningas kugon and the military will have more firepower since they can concentrate against ASG because of the ongoing peace talks sa NPA and MNLF/MILF.

Do you now support terrorists in addition to drug lords in your hatred of Duterte?

Regardless of being pro or anti-Duterte, this is a time to stand together as Filipinos...to help those victims in Davao, not to make jokes, ikatuwa ang nangyari, sabihing "buti nga tuta kasi kayo ni Duterte" or any other s@%t like that.

Yes. You expect they will want a peace talks? Wala naman silang pinaglalaban as a terrorist kaya nga sila nag break away sa MILF noon dahil bukas sa peace talks ang MILF at ayaw nila yun.

pero if we want them out, then let us annihilate them once and for all. i am for that.... but i dont want to cry or be emotional sa mga casualties... handa na ako for that.

Yes, I have seen yellowtards in social media gloating because of the bombing. These idiots were more concerned about the negative impact it would have on the image of Duterte rather than sympathizing with the Davaoenos. The thing is there is no negative impact on the image of Duterte because Duterte does something when tragedy strikes and is well respected by his constituents Davao-wide and nation-wide, something that the previous administration failed to do or acted on belatedly. Where was Aquino during the Yolanda disaster? The Mamasapano massacre? The Luneta hostage crisis?

I know, nakakabwisit na nga e. If it was just a political thing, pwede nila gamitin for their agenda.

not to defend the yellowtards

meaning, parehong nakakabwisit, both sides.

Marcos, in his diary entry for September 22, 1972 (time-stamped 9:55 p.m.) wrote, “Sec. Juan Ponce Enrile was ambushed near Wack-Wack at about 8:00 pm tonight. It was a good thing he was riding in his security car as a protective measure… This makes the martial law proclamation a necessity.” His diary entry for September 25, 1972 mentions conditions after two days of Martial Law, also indicating martial law in reality is dated to September 23, 1972.

I do not agree that President Obama has chickened out on his meeting with President Duterte at the ASEAN Summit in Laos. Even if he is a "lameduck" president, I believe he has his reasons to back out. Me thinks he is avoiding being confronted with the fact that the US is the greatest human rights violators of the Philippines. Filipino patriots have already won its war of freedom from Spain and have declared the country's independence in June 1898. But the Americans bribed Spain with $10M in Paris in December 1898 to colonize the Philippine Islands as its forward base in Asia. This was akin to two pirates dividing their loot. Galant Filipino resistance fighters were massacred and raped by the invading US troops and they enslaved our country for five decades. I think President Obama is afraid to be reminded of this awful truth by President Duterte who is not afraid to call a spade a spade. Even if it is the mightiest country on earth it has no right to bully small nations, interfere in their internal affairs and acting as if it were the policeman of the world.
