Bah, sold out pala ah. Indi ko na naisip kunin 'to kasi nagbabawas ako ng pulls pero mukha namang ok kasi si Jason Aaron yung writer. Sana marinig ng marvel na gustong magsulat ni Aaron tungkol kay Son of Satan (Hellstorm) at yung talaga eh aabangan ko. By the way bro, kukuha ka ba nung Dracula series?

 

Baka first issue lang ang kunin ko dito, bro.. Di ko pa nga kinuha yung pina-reserve ko na copy sa Filbars eh..

 

With regards to the Dracula series, baka hindi.. I am much more interested in first apperances in comics sa ngayon ng mga characters.. Kaya sa indies interesado ako sa mga first apperances/series ng mga new characters.. And I am anticipating the Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash Part II.. So, pass muna ako dito..

IMAGE COMICS' VIKING GOES BACK TO PRESS DUE TO UNPRECEDENTED PRE-RELEASE SELL OUT!

Pre-release VIKING buzz results in a massive sell out bigger than any other in recent Image history!

 

Hmmm.. Does this mean that the Viking #1 will not be the characters' first apperance? Nevertheless, mukhang mapapakuha din ako nito.. Should be big dahil first issue pa din ito.. Thanks, norbs.. :thumbsupsmiley: Will call CO tomorrow morning.. Late ko na nabasa ang thread na ito dahil sira ng 2 weeks ang dsl connection ko.. :thumbsdownsmiley:

Because of PLDT's incompetence I was not able to get Viking #1.. Isipin nyo naman, 14 days wala akong internet sa bahay.. Kesyo sira daw ang "area" namin sa Marikina.. Eh bakit sa ibang kalapitang places, ayos naman DSL nila? Thrice I went to their office to ask for their help, but they just promised me to visit me but they never did.. Kaya nagpakabit ako ng Globelines.. Yung 1MBPS pa ang pinakabit ko sa inis ko.. I'll have PLDT's DSL disconnected and will complain directly to their complaint desk sa head office nila.. Hindi ako makapag-browse ng 14 days, isipin nyo yun.. Kulang na kulang ang 1 hour na 20 bucks sa internet cafe's.. Kung meron akong net, I would have been able to read the news on Viking #1..

 

Tama ka, sold out talaga.. Sandy only ordered 4 copies of this and he was not able to give 6 more requests.. Sana nakakuha ka.. Wala ito sa Comic Quest and most probably wala din ito sa Filbars.. Will check e-bay..

 

The Heroes Special Edition comicbook came in daw for me according to Sandy.. Yipee!!! :thumbsupsmiley: Will post a pic once I get it..

Sandy assured me that he got a lot of comics for the event.. Everybody would get those free comics that we need.. 12PM ang start ng giving-aways but I guess we have to be early to be first on the line.. Most probably maaga din ako for the event.. Kinuha ko na nga din lahat ng comics ko kahapon para hindi na malaki gastos ko next week.. At hindi maabala sa mga signings..

I ordered yung Heroes Comicbook sa CO.. 810 bucks din yan (with discount).. But its nice.. My first HEROES comicbook.. haha..

 

When I said, "kinuha ko na lahat comics ko.." What I meant was I decided to get all of my comics para hindi ko maramdaman ang gastos for the event.. Kasi, I was expecting na mag-sa-sale si Sandy sa mga back-issues niya.. Kasi kung hindi ko bibilhin yung comics ko last week, baka magastos ko yung nakalaan dun.. Its a personal thingie, actually..

 

@Norbs: Okay lang akong maging admin sa CO FB natin.. We need more members there.. Sandy should be one of the mod sana.. Ayaw ba niya? Kahit check lang niya from time to time..

I always keep offering him about the CO-Facebook. pero busy daw sya sobra...

I keep trying to spread the the CO facebook by posting it in PTK, Marvel Pinoy Initiative and Komik Kollektors forums... do tyou have any ideas?

 

I will also drop Secret Warriors after the first story arc, bro.. Kaso, hindi ako sure sa Dark Avengers.. The series might be something to look forward to coz much like New Avengers, sa kanila naka-sentro ang events sa Marvel Universe, eh.. I have already dropped Mighty Avengers at ito ang ipapalit ko..

Sandy is really busy.. Matagal ko na ding pinapahanap yung mga old NBA cards niya sa dating store niya, kaso hindi pa din daw niya naasikaso.. So, sa tingin ko talagang busy siya kasi may dalawang taon na yata yung pangungulit ko eh..

 

I really do not have knowledge of other sites after MTC pagdating sa comics, bro.. PTK is not my cup of tea kahit na bumibili din ako ng kaunting toys.. Kasi ang kolektor ng comics hindi masyadong madalas sa events, kaya hindi din ganun kadami mga kakilala ko.. Madami din tayo kaso hindi tayo sobrang fanatics na kamukha sa NBA cards kasi hindi naman natin ito pinagkakakitaan eh.. But I will google and look for pinoy sites where we could post your CO account sa FB.. Try ko din ikalat sa ibang mga kakilala ko.. Kaso yung iba kasi walang FB eh..

 

@Mac/khumpleetist: Bro, tulungan natin si norbs na maikalat yung site niya.. Its good exposure for us comic geeks and it could help us hear the thoughts of other collectors.. Medyo matumal ng bumisita mga dating regulars dito eh.. We need something new..

Ah, hindi nga ito ang first appearance ni Dracula (Bram Stoker version) pero definite edition/adaptation daw sabi ni Warren Ellis. Saka intrigue talaga ako dito. Pucha, bumili nga ako nung Dracula ni Gary Oldman nung makakita ako ng 3 pack sa Astro (?). MOST probably this'll be my indie title for this year at baka sa mahaba habang panahon ako ulit kumuha ng indie.

Btw, I enjoyed New Avengers #52 kasi andun si Hellstorm!!! Now, I'm looking forward kung pano ihahandle ni Bendis yung chacter niya.
