Just for me to be updated with the coming releases for the following year and be updated with the recent prices, as well.. So, buying Wizard monthly is also a no-no for me, besides just like what you said, everything is in the internet nowadays.. And to add, medyo mahal ang Wizard.. Countdown, Mighty Avengers, Hulk, World of Warcraft and Prince Of Heroes lang ang nasa pull-list ko.. I guess you are getting Zorro, right, bro?.. I have to pass coz I am planning to get The Man With No Name sa susunod na mga months.. Mahirap ng dumami ang nasa pull list ko.. Well patapos na naman ang Countdown eh.. After nito medyo makakahinga na ako ng kaunti.. Weekly ba naman kasi ito.. I'll probably get Wizard's year ender or any issue coming out by December. Magastos! Konti lang din ang sa akin: Hulk, Justice League of America, Mighty Avengers at Zorro. I've given up Countdwon since issue # 24 or # 23 ata. Wala na kasi akong makita nung mga issue na yun tapos nahuhuli pa ako pero baka kumuha ako ng mga latest issue kasi maganda ang mga reviews. I'm getting Hulk just for the first arc. Ganun din sa Zorro or baka issue # 1 lang siguro. May deal kasi kami ng mga kaofficemates ko. Kapag natalo ako eh limited to marvel at DC na lang ako. Which is good para tipid but nakakapanghinayang. At mukhang matatalo ako. I'm glad that Crime Bible will wrap up next week para bawas sa mga bilihin. Hahaha! So far Divided We Stand lang ang sinusundan ko pati Hulk sa Marvel. Then Countdown To Mystery sa DC. I'm preparing to let go of the other publications once I finish their arcs (Mouse Guard, Mice Templar, The Awakening, Killing Pickman, Transformers: Devastation, Star Wars: Vector, & Superpowers) pati Darktower pero tentative pa ako dito sa Darktower. I only got the first issue for investment purposes.. haha.. This week will be another crazy week for my collection.. Kick Ass #1 is coming and I am thinking of getting the McNiven variant cover, yun nga lang medyo magastos at P500.. Another title I am kinda interested is Jeff Smith's RASL.. I would most probably get this issue and continue it.. Malapit na namang matapos ang ilang mini-series ko like Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash, Rod Espinosa's Prince of Heroes and DC's Countdown (its at issue #9 na! yipee!!!).. In total I have 8 titles that I would be getting this week.. All Star Batman & Robin, Countdown, Captain America, Superpowers, XMen: Legacy, Freddy V Jason V Ash plus the two titles I've mentioned above.. I've decided that I won't be getting the new series from Warren Ellis, Gravel.. And instead just get Smith's RASL.. I have not read Bone, but I have read great reviews on it (a friend of mine adores Bone).. I feel that Jeff Smith is a gold-mine kasi eh.. A gold mine of great stories and future investments in the comicbook genre.. Bro, I bought my set of the Secret Wars I at Php2,500.. But that was 12 years ago.. And sa ngayon, nasa around $80 at the minimum ang mint set nun.. So, if its mint, give it a ago.. I think its an okay buy.. Atsaka mahirap ng maghanap nito.. I saw a set in Comic Odyssey before, and they were selling it at 5K yata.. As per Wizard, here are the values of each Captain America you wrote.. #22 = $4, #23 = $4, #24 = $5.. #25 = McGuiness is valued at $10, 2nd print is at $3 and the Civil War: Confession is at $3.. So, in total this would be at around $30.. So, okay na din ito sa P1,500.. But if he is also giving you the #25 regular version, $15 yun eh.. So, sobrang good buy yun.. Yung Young Avengers ang hindi sinama sa issue ko ng Wizard.. So, I have no idea.. But, IMO, medyo ihuli mo yun.. Coz its not really that hard to find, compared to the other two sets.. I even have the first issue that I bought for 20 bucks.. Between the Secret Wars and the Captain America sets, I'd say that the former does not have a lot leeway to go up in the price guide.. It has been years since I've seen this set go up in value and the appearance of Venom in the movie series did not help the set move up in value.. The Death of Captain America, on the other hand, has lots of space to go up in the price guide.. If Steve Rogers will not be resurrected, that 25th issue will be important and will be a key issue in any collector's file cabinet.. But if he does get resurrected, this issue won't really be that "key.." May risk na bumaba ang set ng Captain America, but meron pa ring chance to go up.. So, bro, its really up to you kung ano uunahin mo sa dalawa.. If its me, I'd get the Secret Wars because issue #8 is pretty much a key issue --- kahit ano pa ang mangyari, due to the film, the popularity of both Venom and Carnage.. If you could remember, Batman #497 (the issue where Bane broke Bats' back), was rather hot and expensive when it first arrived.. But because KnightQuest, KnightsEnd was not appreciated much, that issue was forgotten in the long run.. Still, it can be argued that the Death of Superman Set is still hot after over 10 years.. But it can also be argued that Captain America does not that have a big fan-base, as compared to Superman or even Spiderman.. It actually also depends how fans react to the Cap series and how the writers do their work.. But, I guess, it would be worth the risk, right bro? Kunin mo na pareho.. Kpag hindi mo kinuha yung Captain America, timbrehan mo ako.. Para makuha ko siya.. hahaha... Coz that set is certainly worth the risk.. And if it does go down in value, maganda pa din na meron ka as part of your collection.. Whatever happens the Death of Cap is part of comicbook history na.. :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment

I'm actually eyeing Secret Wars since it has the Alien Symbiote's first appearance plus the fact the series had Spider-Woman's (Julia Carpenter) first apperance as well. I just wanted to see the condition of the comic. The Captain America set is my back-up pag di ako satisfied sa Secret Wars.
