But remember, yung PPV sa amerika will be at the 100 plus dollars price range from the usual 60. So kung sila magtataas with the fight of this magnitude eh baka tayo rin. But i hope hindi nga. Quote Link to comment
Larry
PPV prices in the states are reportedly 79.99 for SD, 89.99 for HD. I'm guessing it will be half that here like 2k (hopefully i'm wrong), but I'm going to watch this at a bar, more fun that way. Quote Link to comment

Edmund Dantes
alam mo n political supporters dat time... buti nmn lumayo layo n sya dun... si chavit na lng ang d nawawala According to the stories, Chavit is in Pacquiaos good graces because he was an avid supporter kahit nung di pa sya sikat. Lucky for Pacquiao, he does pay his own expenses when he stays at training camp. Unfortunately, Chavit was also the guy who told manny na sa congresso sya "maganda ilagay" lol. Ilang pulitiko kaya gagastos para andun sila sa ringside come fight night? lol Quote Link to comment

Word is that you can't get ringside tickets unless a) you know someone from Top Rank, HBO, Showtime, or TMT but even then your chances would be slim MGM will only sell ringside/floor tickets to people who have gambling lines of at least $100k. Not 100k as your accumulated line, but the line that you'll use for the casino while you're there. regardless ticket prices are insane right now, checked ticketnetwork.com (http://www.ticketnetwork.com/tix/floyd-mayweather-jr-vs-manny-pacquiao-05-02-2015-tickets-2466390.aspx?gclid=COf7g6OI98MCFUkR7Aod52YAHQ&gclsrc=aw.ds) and the range for UPPER BOX tickets is $4900 - $5300. That's in the UPPER BOX section almost to the nosebleeds. People are predicting it to reach $30k for floor seats. Tickets are one thing, hotel rooms are another. Guy I know tried booking rooms at one of the hotels by the strip, and the price literally goes up every minute. He's now looking at staying at Motel 6 (which isn't bad and is a cab ride away from the venue). One thing's for sure, this will be the richest fight in boxing history. Live gate revenue is set at $74M (per Dan Rafael http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id/12546759/money-generated-floyd-mayweather-jr-manny-pacquiao-fight-easily-surpass-400-million) PPV buyrates is projected to break 3M, you can bet on the final PPV number on Bodog, here's the line: Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr vs. Manny "Pac Man" Pacquiao - Total PPV Buys Fight must take place May 2nd or 3rd for action. Bookmaker decision is final.Over 3.15 Million +120 Under 3.15 Million -160 $400M is just the money that the fight generates directly, if you factor in all the other businesses/establishments that will rake it in come fight week, I see that number go up by at least $100M more. This is history we're witnessing here. Quote Link to comment

shadow555
Also they will not be able to use the excuse that Manny gave them the Tickets anymore, because everyone is saying that they have no Tickets to give at all! If I were a Politician, and I need to go there for some mileage, I will not go there if my ticket was upper level diba? So maybe (hopefully is probably better word) wala masyadong "TRAPO" dun. Actually for Politicians, it might be better if they spend for PPV and have it shown in a big area for their constituents, tapos manood din siya with them... ayun super Mileage yan, but probably only up to Governor/Mayor level lang, Congressmen... maybe... At alangan naman over the weekend lang sila dun. I don't think its just the boxing ang dahilan kung bakit madami sya absent. May basketball pa sya on the side at kung ano ano pa. I understand Manny wants to get more out of life while he still has his resources. Dapat full-time job ito. I have nothing against actors or celebrities going into politics. Heck arnold was elected twice as california governor. Pero during his tenure di gumawa ng pelikula. Quote Link to comment

Larry
This seems interesting... http://www.philstar.com/sports/2015/03/25/1437424/report-mayweather-kod-sparring If this is true, it's both good and bad. Good because we know an older and slower Judah can get PBF down. Manny is faster and hits way harder than Judah, even this current version of Manny. Another good thing is that this could mean that Floyd spars hard in training camp. I don't think his 38 year old body can keep the wear and tear away from heavy sparring. At that age, it's always better to train with quality not quantity. If he gets in gym wars with his sparmates, he'll be beat up come fight night. It's bad, because one of Floyd's biggest strengths is his ability to adjust very quickly to his opponents game. with still 39 days to go till the fight, you can bet your ass that Floyd has already made adjustments to counter a fast lefty, and he's going to drill them constantly until fight day. Not in sparring, or in the ring."But the insider also added, "It's not unusual for a boxer to get hit hard in training and go down. And Floyd responded well - he got up and finished the session. And he beat [the boxer he was fighting] to a bloody pulp."That Mayweather fight next week is gonna be OFF THE CHAINS. Y'all better hurry up and get your pay-per-view ready - this fight is DEFINITELY WORTH BUYING. Cause with all the MESS going on in Mayweather's camp, he might actually take HIS FIRST LOSS!!!
