Dreman
Pareng vuk, di pwede yang reset ka ng reset ng quit date.. hehe i know your predicament kse frustrated ka pero, even though im craving for it, i still abstain. Kse parang nag promise ka sa sarili mo ng wala.. Eniweiz.. still havent smoked since i posted on this thread. Naaalala ko pa may nightmare ako.. kala ko nag yoyosi ako.. i mean i can taste the cig.. pero yun pala panaginip ko lang.. hehehe i think my body still craves for a smoke but i wont let it happen . Anyways, vuk, kaya mo yan.. mas maraming benefits if u stop it pero depende din talaga sa tao yan if they can quit cold turkey or not.. Kung hinde, just minimize it.. kung gusto mo, my suggestion is, (naaalala ko parin ung pinaka last na cig ko) make sure na di mo mauubos ung stick.. meke sure u only consume half of the stick and just throw it away.. It worked for me kse you're just craving to do it. Pag nakailang puff ka na ihagis mo bigla.. hehe yung first puff lang naman din usually ang masarap eh.. anyways, just my suggestion Wohoo! 4 wks nako ala smoke! It feels great! Quote Link to comment
begs
Hey guys! Confession time.I've been smoking since I was in second year high school. I reached my peak when I was in Med School. At that time I was smoking more than a pack a day, was already buying a ream a week. Then by 3rd year Med School, one day I just quit. It's hard at first. Especially the first three or so days, when you're lungs get to function properly again. But I stuck to it. I've been smoke free for four years now. It's easy to say quit, but sticking to your decision, now that's the hard part. Quote Link to comment
Borgz
Confession also: I started smoking during my first year in college....then it became worst when I started to work(started to work when I was in 2nd year college), i ussually smoke...believe it or not 4 packs a day....I used to work in an entertainment industry...ABSCBN and GMA 7....puyatan and shooting and taping all day and all night...kaya ang lakas mag-yosi. One time I decided to quit....I forced myself to stop smoking right away...Fortunately, I was able to do it for almost 2 years but the thing was...during the 2 years...i had asthma...Ang labo no? so after that I have decided to smoke again.....hahaha..not a good advice do not follow. Now that my story was almost 10 years ago....I still smoke now pero mga 1 pack for 1 week nalang....kasi nga I am asthamatic already. Lesson: It is very good to quit smoking but please do not do the way I did it....Stop smoking gradually because your body needs to adjust... I still believe that smoking kills.....let us all try to quit smoking!!!! Thanks Quote Link to comment

JohnLee
biggest regret ko na naging smoker ako... tried quitting a numbers of times pero di kaya... i burdened with work kasi... yun drinking ko under control naman... maski di ako uminom ng 1months ok lang... pero ang cigarettes pagka-gising ko palang yosi na hanap ko... Mr. Shagwell
most people i know you stopped smoking were actuallythose who one time or another experienced heart attacks. Their drive to stop smoking was driven by fear of death. Quote Link to comment
sweetmafia
nasayo naman un eh! u control urself<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yup, ako minsan nag yoyosi, minsan hindi... heheheh pero when I feel the boredom, talagang matetempt ka mag yosi. Lalo na pag lunch break at wala kang kasama. Yun nga.. trip lang talaga minsan. Quote Link to comment
wolfyy
Nicotine patches and gums. I quit for about six months with those rather costly aids. They really help if you're determined. But some say you r more likely to fall off the wagon if you quit with nicotine supplements than when you quit cold turkey. (I agree. Dammit) Then again, if you go cold turkey, well, good luck. Several patches are out there, but Nicoderm CQ stays on the skin most reliably. As for gums, I know none but Nicorette. I dunno where you can get them here tho... Quote Link to comment
