haroots2
The private vehicles are growing in number exponentially because of cheaper gasoline and because it is easier to own a car now because of relatively low bank financing interest rates and the fringe benefits of companies to its employees. It's a matter of affordability, not crime. I agree that its more affordable now but I only stated one of the reason that increases in volume. We have a heavy traffic problem before gasoline rate becomes cheaper and not just because interest rates is lower you have to buy one. It only entice you to buy it because its safer especially for women. Quote Link to comment
sandy51
Suggestion sa traffic problem. Watch the videos in the news. Kung consistent ang problem, it only means that the enforcers are not doing their jobs, which means their supervisors are not doing theirs. Fire the supervisors. If so many supervisors have problems of weak supervision, fire the supervisor of the supervisors, and so on up the line. Always make it the accountability of the immediate supervisor up the chain. Cheap solution lang ito - that is if we really are serious Quote Link to comment
rey.etder
its never going to be fixed. roads are too small, manila is too small and the amount of cars are just too much. its a simple math. Quote Link to comment
shemale
wala ba ginagawa goverment sa traffic situation dito lalo nagiging worst kasi. Quote Link to comment
jopok
considering there are more drivers on the road than enforcers, we could make a whole lot of difference by displaying more discipline by inculcating discipline among ourselves Quote Link to comment
getsumei
I no longer see any solution actually. Dami mahilig mangatwiran e. Ive seen and read lots of suggestions only to be shutdown by a selfish argument. Lets take the cars parked on/by the sidewalks as an example. Obviously they are a cause of traffic. Remove them. Dont counter that there are no parking spaces. Kung wala talaga makuha space then leave the car in your garage. Walang garahe? Why buy a car in the first place? Kasi convenient/secure? I dont see the convenience when you would be cursing the long hours on the road because of traffic. There is still no security when you're stuck in traffic with close to frustrated drivers around. Thats just an example. Mahirap alisin sa atin ang pangangatwiran. Hanggat walang gusto magbigay - wala tayo karapatan umasa. Trapiko at polusyon. Ai onga, may magrereklamo wag makialam sa kotse ng my kotse kasi di ko naman pera pinambili 😏 Edited February 25, 2016 by getsumei Quote Link to comment

Ser Jaime
Mass Transpo ang solution. And also ung No Garage, No Car Policy sana maipasa. Quote Link to comment
Ryuji_tanaka
Mass Transpo ang solution. And also ung No Garage, No Car Policy sana maipasa. Unfortunately, Daang Matuweed is an epic fail at this. Quote Link to comment
camiar
Mass Transpo ang solution. And also ung No Garage, No Car Policy sana maipasa. Correct! Kahit hindi garage. Kahit carport lang. No Carport - No Car Policy. Just like in major Japanese cities like Tokyo.. Start with Makati and Manila. Edited April 17, 2016 by camiar Quote Link to comment
Joblow
Jon Don
Create jobs outside of NCR. Give people a reason to go back to their provinces. That will reduce the traffic problem among other things. Quote Link to comment
kanto-terrorist
Economic Federalism is the key. kahit di na political, Economic and Business na lang. Quote Link to comment
camus
Fix public transportation system. I would start would with trains: mrt, lrt, pnr. Magulo din roads Pero Mamaya na yun. Unahin trains. First you fix the current trains, then you expand network. No traffic sa trains. Imagine... If you have good train network, you can go home to batangas and be in your office in makati in 1 hour. 1 Quote Link to comment
