Not until the government takes urban planning seriously. The solution is an effective mass transit system, not more roads nor over/underpasses. Case(s) in point: HK and SG.

 

Ito ang tamang sagot. Isa pa, spread out ang jobs sa ibang cities at probinsya para hindi magsiksikan ang mga tao sa Manila. Improve ang railway system at buwagin ang prankisa ng bus. Dapat state owned na ang bus transit system kung saan ang mga drivers nito ay employed by the government earning a fixed income at hindi boundary. May sinusunod na timetable at bus stops lang ang titigilan nila. Wala ka nang makikitang bus na hinaharangan ang daanan para lang makakuha ng pasahero. Paborito nilang harangan mga intersections.

 

Then phase out jeepneys at FX. Jeepneys dapat nasa museum na ngayon at ang mga FX ay sagabal lang sa daan. Ganon din mga tricycle diyos ko ang iingay, at ang uusok!

Pansin ko lang minsan kung nasan ung traffic enforces dun nagtraffic eh. Kung walang traffic wala silang trabaho!! Madalas kasi traffic na dun sa isang side go pa rin sila ng go dun sa maluwag. Parang may priority sila na side eh.

I think it's high time for the MMDA to start carefully evaluating the quality of their traffic enforcers. I believe one of the qualifications should be physical size to prevent guys like Carabuena from bullying traffic enforcers.

 

There is also need for some sort of intelligence test. Some basic IQ questions which any high school student should have no problem answering. Only those who pass the intelligence test should be hired.

 

And lastly, there is a need to provide seminars for traffic enforcers on traffic rules, use of courteous language, self-defense, and so on. Training should always be an integral part in the hiring, promotion and improved efficiency and effectiveness of traffic enforcers.

 

The best traffic enforcers are those who are dedicated to their job. Those who leave their assigned posts during a rain storm should be fired post haste because these enforcers aren't dedicated to their job.

The driver of the wayward vehicle was killed.

 

The driver who managed to stop his vehicle was charged with reckless imprudence resulting in homicide. This is stupidity of the highest order.

 

So if somehow, you're at a stoplight, and a bicycle rider slams into your rear end and is killed, be prepared to be charged with homicide. Of course you'll be found innocent eventually, but the fact that you're even charged for something that is obviously not your fault is just damned ludicrous.

Kasi inalis na sa pulis ang mag desision on site kaya automatic yung pag sampa ng kaso on who ever is left alive. Bakit inalis , kasi police don;t have the brains to comprehend & better judgement, puro kotong lang alam. So now, the case goes to the fiscal, 2 na sila ng pulis ang may kotong from the inocent driver.

Karamihan sa mga traffic enforcers, di naman marunong mag-drive. So, they don't know how drivers behave.

There's a disconnect between the traffic enforcers and the drivers. That's why they cannot control the traffic.

Guys madaling sabahin pero mahirap itong i-implement. Para kang gumawa ng gumawa ng banyo na walang inidoro at nagbigay ka ng instructions na panatilihing malinis ang banyo, ayaw ko makakita ng ebak. Saan eebak? Kaya nagiging ganyan ang traffic sa atin - buhol buhol ay dahil sa sobrang dami ng kotse. Million million ang nakatira sa Manila kaya pag rush hour lahat ng nagtatrabaho gumagamit ng kalsada. Kung may TRAINS, makakatulong itong mapaluwag ang kalye. Kailan niyo ba makikita ito? Nagtataka ako kahit mga Pilipino na nakatira sa ibang bansa na may magandang transportation system hindi nila makita ito na solution para sa traffic problems ng Pilipinas. Bakit? Ang laging bukambibig - dagdagan ng fly over, hulihin ang mga traffic offenders, patayin ang MMDA. LOL! Kung hindi ogag ang namamalakad sa bansa natin walang MMDA!
