FF
the dump is the toughest arena to play against aside from the garden according to a much panned interview by ric bucher of espn ... the main reason why it's so hard to win at the dump is .... benjied
UTAH's a very efficient team. Very well disciplined. If you don't come in with the right discipline and efficiency when you play these guys. They will run over you. They have posted double digit leads against the NBA's elite teams, so there's no question that they can really bring it. Quote Link to comment
FF
jazz take game 1 on the road against the rockets ! it wasn't the jazz at their sharpest as they struggled with the undermanned rockets ... losing their 13 point lead and even allowing the rockets to come back. imho problem with the jazz is they have a hard time getting it up for "weaker" opponents ; a fact that has me worried in this series with the rockets. with homecourt advantage back to the jazz .. hope that sloan lights a fire underneath the team. boibastos
And this wasn't even one of the Jazz's better games....if they take the next one, it's probably going to be a sweep. That'll be wonderful news for us when we get to the second round. A rested, confident Jazz will be waiting for us after we've spent 6 or more games running after AI and friends. Quote Link to comment
howard_the_duck
come on, do you really think the nuggs will last more than 5 games? Edited April 20, 2008 by howard_the_duck Quote Link to comment
boibastos
come on, do you really think the nuggs will last more than 5 games? As long as we don't have enough to cover both Anthony and AI at the same time, yes I do. Quote Link to comment
howard_the_duck
but the nuggs aren't covering anyone up, anyway so.... JAZZ vs. LAKERS in the semis Edited April 20, 2008 by howard_the_duck Quote Link to comment

I think part of it is knowing just how good they are. they know they're better than the Rockets so they practically coasted through a good chunk of the game, letting the Houston hang around and out-work them. the old Jazz teams didn't really have as much so they threw everything (and oftentimes, literally) at the other team just to get the job done. FF
Nice win in Game 1. :thumbsupsmiley: Congrats FF and the rest of the Jazz fans. Bring on the LAKERS! tenchu... tenchu :thumbsupsmiley: at mabuhay din po kayo sir legionnaire. however ... three more wins to go before we jazz fans will go out drink ourselves into a doozy. hope the jazz won't be lulled by a sense of complacency and overconfidence . among the playoff qualifiers ... only the jazz have a combined losing record on the road against minnesota ( twice pa ! ) ... miami and memphis . ) the lakers ? still to early to say. but as an nba fan i do hope that the nuggets put up a better fight against the lakers.
