It appears that a decision was made Monday to have Jim Ross call WrestleMania 22, not Joey Styles. Most backstage in WWE expected Ross to get the nod since Vince McMahon feels Joey Styles has yet to grasp the "WWE style" of announcing.

 

Joey Styles was told of the news Monday prior to RAW.

 

Many figured Ross would host the Hall of Fame Ceremony, but when the decision was made for him to announce RAW, WWE decided to have Jerry Lawler host the Hall of Fame.
