when we went there at alona there are few people kaya solo ang beach.. madami lang seaweeds but its ok

maganda talaga ang amarela resort. rooms are very well-appointed and you can clearly see the owner has style with how he dressed up his place. only downside is their beach area. it's narrow and not as nice as those in BBC.

 

PINR is also charming and there's also a small island you can walk to from the shore. better rooms than BBC but a bit pricier.

 

BBC still has the best beachfront. you will not feel boxed in this huge resort. they now have value rooms in their new wing (amihan yata?).

 

Amorita is also nice. no beachfront but you can walk to alona beach which is just a stones throw away from their place.

any advice for someone who's travelling alone? i've been to bohol at least 3 times before but all of them were on the eastern side (away from the main resorts and happening place). I'll be in tagbilaran on business and will probably stay one or two nights. any place you guys can suggest?

dumaluan beach resort in panglao island is nice and reasonably priced. beachfront is adjacent to bohol beach club.

 

must see the dolphins across the islands

ganda! fell in love with the place.. will surely come back..

 

stayed in alona tropical in panglao and bohol tropics in tagbilaran..

Stayed at Flushing meadows a couple of months ago. Nice place to bring ur family or ur significant other, very secluded. Free breakfast buffet, at masarap pa! So puked it out after a mornin dive! ha, ha, ha. Maay massage room that enhances the sound of the waves that I fell sleep (di ko alam kong na-massage ako, or na-abuse )). Got a nice pool overlooking the sea. Malayo lang from Alona beach. Like I said, secluded. :hypocritesmiley:

Hotels: Bohol Tropics, Metro Center Hotel (2500-3000 for a twin room)

Resorts: Bohol Beach Club (4000-5000/night for a twin room), Alona (no idea on the rate), Panglao Island Nature Resort (about 5000 up)

Pension house: Vest (800-1800)

You can finish the day tour in about 7 hours (10am to 5pm). You will need a van (2500-3000). You will cover blood compact, chocolate hills, loboc river cruise, hanging bridge, python and the singing gay guy.

 

If you're staying in the city, you will have to travel about 30 minutes to Panglao to get to the beaches. Van rental is about 500 per trip. Beach entrance is 350 per person consumable.

 

You can also visit the Tarsier sanctuary in Corella town (opposite direction of Choc Hills).
