hello, how are you guys?

 

can somebody help me with my destop pc problem?

 

yung desktop ko pag on mo, walang display, pero ok naman monitor ko,

tapos ayaw gumana ang cd drive, pero gumangana yung mga fans nya

wala akong narinig na beeps na sound, saan kaya ang problem ko?

 

gusto ko sana palitan yung power supply pero yung spare ko ay 24 pins yung plug tapos yung sa original ko ay 20 pins lang paano ba i convert yung 24 pins to 20 pins?

power supply lang talaga ang problem, walang power or not enough power yung supply para gumana yung motherboard ko

kaya di gumagana yung mga optical drives and hard disk pero yung 2 exhaust fan and 1 fan para sa cpu umiikot!

 

kaya pag nagkaproblema rin kayo at kapareho yung symptoms ng pc ko, most probably ay power supply!

 

tapos yung power supply ko na 24 pins yung plug papuntang mother board ay nagamit ko rin sa motherboard ko na 20 pin lang yung slot nya, possible pala, may 4 na pins lang na sosobra extra power para sa motherboard na may pcie slots

 

nagkaron ako ng time makalikot yung pc, kasi long weekend!

i have a dvd rom/writer. di na sya lumalabas sa my computer (i mean yung drive ng dvd rom/writer). pero when i view the device manager, nakikita na merong dvd rom/writer although me ! sign and yellow mark. sabi ng pcx technician, i need to reinstall my windows xp service pack. if i reinstall it, what will happen to my files? do i have to backup? i dont have enough flash drive and i can't save/burn files as backup kasi nga hindi nag wowork yung dvd rom/writer.

i checked against the microsoft website if my os is valid. siempre failed. but i followed the registry codes from another mtc user under the software/application thread. what are the implications now that my os has been detected as counterfeit? is there a way to fix this?

for one.... you can uninstall the device muna sa device manager... ung cnasabi mo n optical drive mo n me !,uninstall mo cya then restart mo PC mo,after doing that try to check kung nandun n cya e try mo remove ung upper/wer filters sa registry,HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} <---check mo tong location na to kung me upper lower filtersafter removing them e restart mo ulit pC mo then check mo kung gagana ung drive.

as for two. maybe you can try paradox to make it valid instead of editing the registry for the OS. I believe everyone in this room knows paradox.

-i accidentally unplugged the wires on the motherboard side connecting the 2 front usb ports, mic in, headphone ports on my desktop pc, and i dont know how to properly plug them back.

 

-i was cleaning the pc and i thought that the plug was 1 solid rubber block but it turn out that each wire had their own separate plug

 

-my problem is that i dont know the configuration, color coding etc.. of the wire and pins on the motherboard

and im afraid that if plug them wrong i might damaged the motherboard

 

-i dont see any marks or sign on the motherboard side pins, telling me where to plug the wires

 

-the plugs on the wires are properly marked telling me which one is for the power, usb, mic headphone etc

 

- are pin configuration on my motherboard are the same on all brand of motherbaords?

almost all motherboard have the same headers - of course it is best to consult the motherboard manual always - i assume you have lost yours? if you know the brand/model, you can go to their site to download a softcopy of the manual

 

anyway, if all things fail, you can consult this link: http://www.frontx.com/cpx101_2.html - again do this as the last resort - i have experienced several burnt flash drive and portable drives because some smart technician failing to "read the manual"

I will check what is the brand/model of my motherboard and get me a copy of the diagram and manual as i have no idea where mine is.

finally after the dvd /cd rw drive has been detected by the pc, i was able to install nero express. i bought 5 CDRs. i thought i would be able to burn. it sure can read the installer, but i tested all blank CDR and this is the prompt i got:

 

E: is not accessible. incorrect function.

 

is it possible that the burner is damaged? it can read but cannot burn or all the cdrs i bought are the ones that are damaged? tnx.

program cya n nageenable sa windows n maging valid. that program will enable windows to download updates and make your windows a WGA enabled. Kumbaga d cya lalabas na pirated pag nagupdate n ung windows updates nya.

kung nacheck mo n ung properties nya at walang recording tab sa properties window nyan,ganito,punta k msinfo32, check mo kung combo drive talaga ung nababasa,kung un ung nababasa then punta k ng device manager,uninstall mo ung combo drive mo dun then restart mo ung computer,im sure nakita mo n BIOS nyan and it's teling u n combo drive yan,right?so pagbalik mo ng windows,check mo ulit ung drive,dapat at all cose it will tell you n cd drive yan.try mo ulit pasukin ung properties nung drive,kung wala p din recording tab yan e remove mo ung nero,restart mo ung pc then try checking it again kc there are times that it's the burning software that's causing the problem e.me conflict ung driver ng nero sa driver ng windows para dun sa combo drive

pano po ba malalaman kung alin yung essential at alin yung pwede na itigil dun?

come to think of it. i check the info when i opened nero startmart and this what came out:

 

you are using a nero express oem version. this version does not include nero burning rom. if you want to use nero burning rom please purchase the retail version. visit our website etc.

 

pero bakit before, nakaka burn ako. naka ilang cd na rin ang naburn ko......

try to use google.you will know there kung alin ang valid.try mo din mag-msconfig para disable mo ung d kelangan n services at programs sa background ng pc.mag defrag k din at disc clean up k din para malinis PC mo... pasok k din ng prefetch folder ,click mo ung start then run then type mo prefetch,me ipapakita s u n window then delete mo lahat ng laman nung prefetch.
