Question regarding K750i:

Is there a way that the message alert tone play an ENTIRE mp3 song? It only lasts a few seconds eh. I know that it can play the whole song if you set it as a Ringtone or Alarm, but what about sa Message Alert Tone? Is this possible?

Try going to tipidpc.com just search for the memory modules available... most of them are cheap...

I just got my W900i last christmas and I've never been so happy with my phone...

Here's a rough estimate of a post I saw there...

Would it affect the speed of the phone if you

would be using, lets say 1GB of memory?

Are there any generic memory duo sticks that

have hi-speed transfer just like what SONY has?

Sorry, hindi pwede.

Standard 10 secs lang talaga kapag message tone

BTW, guys just wanted to ask, does your fone charge

the battery to a hundred percent(100%)?

I mean does the fone inform you that it has reached

a 100%? I think my forn has an issue regarding this.

It does not stop charging the fone and it does not get to a 100%

Any advice?

pero ndi kaya madamage ang fne? question lang guys.. wen do u charge ur fne? any time? or pag empty tlga? ndi ba masisira pag charge ng charge?

actually it's not the fone but the battery's the one that will be damage when overcharge..

..but then again that depends on the type and the quality of the battery that you're using.. :)

this was an issue if your using ni-Cd, or Ni-MH type but with the advent of Li-ion batteries, the lifespan has been improve even if you frequently charge ur battery.. but a full drain must be maintained from time to time.. :)

but using a replacement battery from china or taiwan is another story.. :P

what version do you have? latest version is R1BC002. you can get it at SE Update Service on your PC, but if you're not comfortable doing that, i guess you can always take it to semicon. they SHOULD have the latest version, but sometimes they're a little delayed.

improvements from R1AA008 are:

- Free memory is now listed in MB instead of KB.

- Photos are now taken as soon as the shutter sound is heard.

- Slight increase in speaker and headphone volume.

- Slight increase in phone responsiveness.

- FIX: Background noise during lower volume calls ('hissing bug') now fixed.

- FIX: Picture zooming bug fixed. Pictures larger than 1632 pixels wide and/or 1224 pixels tall can now be zoomed into.

- FIX: All USB transfer issues now fixed.

- FIX: Increased stability in PhotoDJ and VideoDJ applcations.

- JBenchmark 3D LQ: 202

- JBenchmark 3D HQ: 126

- JBenchmark 2: 340

- JBenchmark 1: 3889

- Software versions:

LCD 0

Camera 4.5

The speed of the phone will depend on the "mobo & processor" of the phone (for lack of better term)... and not as much as the type of memory that you're using... naturally there will be slower reads if your phone has lots of stuff in it (SMS, MMS, MP3, etc.)

As far as memory stick is concerned... you may opt to try Sandisk... its consoderably cheaper than Sony...

it depends on the region of your phone. kung asia pacific version (APAC) yung phone mo, it should be able to silence the shutter. i don't think you can silence it with the european versions because of EU regulations.

I bought my k750i in the EMEA region

it has a european firmware

and shutter can be silent
