Medyo kinabahan din ako ........ debatable ang scoring every rounds - its natural pero walang controversy sa final scoring ng judges - panalo talaga. Peace. :mtc: Well in fairness kay Chino Trinidad, this has been one of the most unbiased commentating they did. When I watch Pacman fight, sobrang biased mag commentate mga commentators natin IN FAVOR of PACQUIAO. In this fight, medyo fair yung commentating nila with a boxer by their side also scoring. Again, even if you look at international commentators, look at Sports Illustrated, Fox News, MaxBoxing, etc. all of them indicated that the fight could have gone either way. And in all of their "unofficial scorecard" they had Marquez winning 114-113. BUT NONE OF THEM says that the JMM was robbed of a victory, because the truth is both was deserving. Even I had Marquez winning slightly or at most a draw would happen. But who cares? The judges already made their call, and I am not complaining. Pacman won, and we're all happy. Quote Link to comment

Marquez clearly had more shots, but Manny landed more EFFECTIVE shots. Yanig ang tuhod ni Marquez whenever Manny hits the mark! But like Seeingkith here, I too acknowledge the decision could have gone either way. JUDGE'S DISCRETION ang tawag dyan. The cookie crumbled our way, this time around, I am NOT ABOUT TO PROTEST THAT! He already did on so many occasions and I don't care if he doesn't this time around. IT IS NOT PACQUIAO'S OBLIGATION TO UNITE THE COUNTRY. Let's be thankful that he was able to in the past. If he won't be able to do that now, blame the government leaders who are running the country.. not this athlete who gave us so much honor and pride. The man has a life too, you know. I'm sure that when he just started boxing, he didn't even dream of uniting the country through his boxing exploits. I'm sure personal reasons go first and can we blame him? Hell, no! I would do the same had I been in his shoes. This is the question I want to ask people like me who are admiring Pacquiao and were expecting a lot of things from him simply because he excelled in the sports he worked hard for all his life... I believe when in doubt, the victory should awarded to the champion. Kailangang patunayan ng challenger na siya ang dapat talagang maging champion. In this case, gulpe sarado si manny, hindi convincing kung baga .... Hayy swerte ng kumag! I really thought that Marquez won that fight until they announced the scorecards and the winner - Manny Pacquiao.But I still believe that Manny deserves this win because, 1. he scored a knockdown on the 3rd round. 2. even with a cut eyelid, he never gave up and stood his ground. he was a half blind boxer that time and yet Marquez couldn't capitalize on that. 3. the 3 judges saw that Manny's punches where stronger and more solid than Marquez's Jabs and right punches. 4. in the eyes of the judges, the aggressor has the advantage against a defensive/counter puncher boxer. Manny wants a knockout while Marquez's is satisfied with making points. Anyway, it was a close match and a third match is a must. Lastly, off topic:I didn't had the chance to watch it live or in a pay per view so I just watched it at home on a delayed telecast. I must say that I was so dissapointed with GMA with all those commercials. Umabot ata ng 4PM ang delayed telecast samantalang sa ABS dati umaabot lang ng 1PM. Peace. :mtc: Quote Link to comment
