dragonei
"The Manny Pacquiao" scandal....
Quote Link to comment
bubuy
Pasok na pasok! :thumbsupsmiley: Pacman vs Hatton - IPUPUSTA KO BAHAY KO KE PACMAN! (ala pa pala ako bahay) Pacman vs Mayweather - Gusto ko si Pacman manalo siyempre, pero ke Mayweather ako pupusta, magaling talaga and siguro slightly more superior.with all due respect, the adjective superior isnt applicable to any pacman opponent right now.. i call the fight even or maybe slight advantage to gayweather, but definitely gayweather is not superior to MP.. there is no such thing as slightly superior, those two words contradict each other.. Quote Link to comment

skitz
this is the time when i wish pro boxing is an olympic event, or a polished pacman became an amateur boxer first and won our country's first gold medal before turning into a prizefighter. Sana upon Pacman's retirement, he should help out in building a stable of brave amateur boxers, give funds for training in cuba or mexico, and give them attractive compensation for them not easily be lured by the pro boxing promoters. dragonei
Well yeah. Kaya nga kung tatakbo man si Pacquiao in the future (and I hope it will be a very distant future), dapat on his own terms. Its his responsibility to respond to that call and make the most out of it. He owes it to the sport, to the fans, and most of all to himself. His true calling is being the greatest fighter since Tyson, Leonard or even muhammad ali. Sure Id want him to retire pag wala na siyang kelangan patunayan. And maybe by then thats the time when public office would be a calling for him. But for now he has to go to england to kick some british ass and proove that "there is only one Manny Pacquiao" Hehehe, I remember that mayweather said he was looking for someone to shut him up. Oh well, lace the gloves baby and lets start putting the money where your mouth is. Quote Link to comment

kleptome
For those who continuously make fun of the way Manny speaks in English, based on my observation he has improved a LOT. Way better than some people working in the call center. He started off as a poorboy who knows NOTHING about English, I think we should give him credit for the improvements he has accomplished. I think he speaks in clear understandable manner. btw, He's a BOXER not a journalist or speaker. imho. Lastly, I'm not a BIG fan of Pacquiao amd like I've said, my money's on Mayweather. I have barkadas na tawa ng tawa whenever Manny got interviewed when in reality kapag may client kaming foreigner, tamimi at hindi makapagsalita ni minsan ng English. Talking about looking at a mirror first, observing yourself muna.
you have to give MP a break when it comes to his <english> interviews, it's not every day your voice will be heard by millions and millions of people around the world.. baka yung mga tumatawa kay pacman ay maihi sa nerbyos pag sila pinagsalita sa ganung kalaking audience..
