1. ano ba ginawa nung fan??

    =========================================

  2. malas ang shooting, they chose to die with it.

di man lang gumawa ng adjustments come the time na out si Freeman nursing five fouls. they could have pound it inside sana.

no adjustments as well to free Jayjay, set some screens.

    a night to forget indeed.

    =============================================================

You are right, no adjustments on play whatsoever. Like what have reiterated in the past, its the team's inutile coach that causing the downfall of Ginebra. The long playing minutes of the ineffective Salvacion, the long rest of Mamaril, again the indecisive rotation of players, all boils down leading to the loss, although, medyo off-night most of the players.

See you Sunday. (araw ni Salvacion)

  5. Ganon lagi si Jong kay Artadi, pag mainit ang kamay ilalabas at pauupuin ng napakatagal, maganda din na si Artadi ang nasa PG at nasa no. 2 spot si Helterbrand though Helterbrand can and/or likes to create off the dribble, paborito yata ni Jong si Lanate na tinawag na "Italian Stallion" noong isang sportscaster kagabi, ano si Lanete si Sylvester Stallone? Hehe. Sana maka-recover na din si Menk ng todo para maging factor din s'ya, kudos to Mamaril for holding his own agains the big men of smb, bilib ako kay Big Mama dahil 'di takot sa balyahan which is a trademark of a true Ginebra player..

    ===========================================================================

I inquired an insider sa Ginebra and he told me wala namang iniinda sina Artadi at Pacana. Ewan ko ba! Tuwang tuwa ako nuong nag first five si Artadi, 3 three points and looping layup kaagad, Sigawan mga kabarangay pati commentator napasigaw, then "pow" di na nakita until the last 4 seconds ng first half. Si Mamaril is slowly developing into an "Abe King" type of a center. Never say die, in the style of Topex Robinson. Nakakapagpainit ng dugo ng mga Kabarangay. Pero.............wala eh!

  6. yap, their defense was superb sa first half. many steals, many force turnover ng SMB and the passing. But the biggest plays were made by Helterbrandt and Noel's playing heads up. Hope this kind of play prevails sa second half.

  7. ARTADI THREE POINTS !!!! tapos ARTADI THREE POINTS !!! tapos ARTADI THREE POINTS (napasigaw pa ng malakas si Jao), tapos ARTADI ON A LAYUP !!! THIS is the story sa first half. Good thing Herlterbrandt was scorching hot sa three point area. I STILL DONT KNOW THE reason how Jong coach this team. He must have something to grind against Artadi. Still the players the ones that win the game for GINEBRA, not the coach.

  8. Now, what do you think will be the result if in case hindi na naman pinasok ni Coach Jong sina Artadi and Reeves? Eh, pati si Se pinaglalaruan na lang ni coach, sayang ang talent which also includes Pacana. Sayang sila. He won the finals seat due to the gut playing of his players, the never-say-die attitutde instilled by the Big J in a team called GINEBRA!

  9. Another icon............Michael Jackson died of cardiac arrest. Well, I remember fond of hearing their group's (Jackson 5 with him as lead) Xmas song "Give Love on Christmas Day". Pati Ben, Got to Be There (the hit nuon when there was continous rains for almost a month-September nuon), I'll Be There. The 70s was the year when Michael was still Michael. No freak show then. May he rest in peace! Thanks for the memories.

  10. @ photographer

    for the topic..

Its a game wherein you cannot stay seated even when your just watching at home. Grabe ung laro na yun!.. Hats off to Danny I. for bringing & pouring it in when it matters.

I remember last year noong si Alexander ang import nila, they dominated rb sa semis en route to winning the crown whereas sa current performance ni Noel maski makalusot sila sa ros t'yak 'di sila makakaporma against smb, daming big men ng smb at madami ding shooters..

Baka meron si Noel ng H1N1-------Naghihintay 1 NBA 1

  12. Kaka nerbyos laro! 2 OTs.

BURGER KING, YOUR MANAGEMENT SUCKS BIG TIME !!!

Wag kang gago, Manny.

  14. GO! GO! GO! SAN MIGUEL !!! GO! GO! GO! SAN MIGUEL !!!! Kapal mo Yeng, nang aaway ka pa!!! KAPAL KAPAL KAPAL!!!

  15. I am puzzled....how come Yeng Guiao get away from the law about double compensation? And, of course, consistent absenteeim. Yeng is presently Vice-Governor of Pampanga but rarely attends boards and goes to office. Why is it that when ordinary government offices absents himself/herself from duties he/she is either fined or, even worst, suspended or forced to resign from office. Now comes this official who receives also double compensation from Burger King team in PBA. Why does PBA tolerate this kind of practice at the expense of Pinoy taxpayers. Yes, I know, many other officials do this but Yeng is on national TV lights! Should there be delicadeza on his part or what government agency is in charge to investigate and prosecute this kind of malpractice (hopefully not the Ombudsman, you know what I mean) Burger King is doing a disservice to our country hiring this man. Now, read the column below. He has been doing this kind of thing for years, even tripping opposing players when they get near his bench, badmouthing PBA officials, naghahamon ng away sa dugout, sa court, bago lumabas ng court at sa labas ng coliseum? The PBA should have rules on discipline, not just giving fines to this kind of people. A coach should be a model person sa team. Good thing his team is not blind when he orders his players to beat up other players.

Yeng is a great coach, my hats off to that, but, syempre, delicadeza and morals also count. PBA, WAKE UP!!!!

Guiao draws fine, warning for outburst

    Yeng Guiao

MANILA, Philippines - PBA commissioner Sonny Barrios imposed a stiff fine on top of a stern warning on Burger King coach Yeng Guiao for his latest on-court outburst Sunday.

Guiao was fined P73,000 for his ninth technical infraction in the ongoing Motolite PBA Fiesta Conference and was meted an extra fine of P10,000 for confronting the referees in the hallway leading to the dugout after the game.

Barrios also warned the fiery BK coach that he would be suspended the next time he loses his temper.

Guiao was assessed almost P.1 million in fines as the league guidebook on sanctions calls for escalation of fines for a player or a coach after six technical fouls in a tournament.

“The fans are filling our venues mainly because we have two very interesting semifinal series. And the fans can rest assured that we will not allow the beauty of the series to be spoiled by unsportsmanlike conduct or any form of hooliganism,” said Barrios.

Idol

Atienza for President? If Pacman has his way

    Updated June 24, 2009 12:00 AM

MANILA, Philippines - Manny Pacquiao is pushing Environment Secretary Lito Atienza to run for President in the 2010 elections.

The boxing icon who’s also running for Congress in Saranggani Province said Monday evening that if he could have his way he’d like to see the former mayor of Manila and now Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources to become the next President.

He said Atienza’s accomplishments even when he was still Manila mayor speaks well of him.

“If you’d ask me who should sit as our next President, I should say it’s Lito Atienza. He’s pro-people, pro-country, pro-natural resources and pro-God,” said Pacquiao after gracing the inauguration of the Manila Grand Opera Hotel Casino in Manila.

“We all saw how he beautified the city of Manila. He lighted it up and developed the city. He gave away scholarships to the poor. I think he deserves to sit as our next President,” said Pacquiao.

But that’s if Atienza would run against those who have signified their intentions, including former President Joseph Estrada, Senators Loren Legarda, Manny Villar, Mar Roxas, Chiz Escudero and Richard Gordon, MMDA chairman Bayani Fernando, Makati Mayor Jojo Binay, Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro.

“If you’d ask me, Secretary Atienza should be our next president. But it’s up to him,” added Pacquiao in Filipino.

“I think he can help change our country. In our moments together, I have known him as someone who’s pro-poor. He said he wants to provide jobs for every Filipino, and keep the beggars off the streets. He said if they have jobs then they won’t beg,” said Pacquiao.

Pacquiao ran for a congressional seat in his hometown in Gen. Santos City in 2007 but, despite his closeness to Malacañang, lost to incumbent Darlene Custodio.

He wants to give it another shot in Saranngani, and it seems that he’s now doing it under the banner of the opposition. A few days ago, he met with Estrada in GenSan and got the endorsement of the ex-President.

“I’ve known Manny Pacquiao as pro-poor because he was once poor. Yes, I endorse him,” said Estrada, who raised the hand of the boxer.

“I want to extend my gratitude to President Estrada,” said Pacquiao, “because it’s not only in boxing where he supports me but in my hopes of fulfilling my dreams.”

Pacquiao, however, said he has not yet made any commitment to anyone

  17. I was watching kahapon the third installment of Pacman-Morales fight. Narinig ko yung commentator while pinipilit ni Morales na tumayo after quitting the bout remarked: "Anytime now Paquiao can beat Mayweather".
