I disagree. Samsung consistently puts the best features into it's phones. Sure, most years are iterative, but always top specs. Getting a Samsung flagship is pretty much a sure shot for a top 3 phone. That said, most people are casual users. So they only want a nice camera and fast internet.

The Sony Ericsson partnership seems to be dead, but Sony is still making phones.

But, the collaborative aspect and corporate need to make a lot of money makes the art form prone to dilution, confusion, or compromise. A book is generally a pure intimate conversation with the author with some adjustments from editors and publishers. It's slow, it's deep, it begs to live in your mind for days or weeks or months.

Recently, podiatrists have been recommending that people spend a couple hours walking barefoot for foot health and to avoid foot problems.
