  1. Highschool for activities, college for freedom. But I miss college more.
  2. Fully agree. Knowledge is power. Teach them consequences so they can avoid mistakes (teen pregnancy, STIs, UTI, etc.), and to reduce the immaturity when discussing sex.
  3. Daily testing. A quiz once a week means studying once a week. A quiz every day means studying every day

  6. Seeing a new trend in schools. Elementary kids speak good English and struggle with Filipino. It's cute, but we will lose language in the future if this trend continues. Filipino languages are beautiful and should be spoken and preserved.

  8. It depends on the teacher/professor and the class they're teaching. I've had teachers give open book exams as mercy for weaker students, to build confidence, and to develop the skill of going back to check the textbook. And I've had a professor give an open book exam because it was the only way to complete their exam. Luckily, I've only heard stories of professors that give open book exams because they knew you couldn't read all the material. đŸ˜¨

  12. You don't. Aging is inevitable. But you can keep yourself healthy and close to your prime performance with a good diet, hydration, and exercise. And by quitting alcohol and smoking.
  13. If you haven't exercised in a while, let your first 2 workouts/activities be at about 50-60% effort. Research shows that soreness is overexertion and overwxertion increase risk of injury. Ignore the old saying that soreness is good because it means you oushed yourself. Save that for after 2-3 weeks of consistent exercise/activity.
  14. Diet first. Limit red meat to once a week. Limit fried foods to once a week. Limit sodium intake. (Yes, food will be bland for a while) Hit hydration goals. Increase fish intake. Increase vegetable intake and variety. Eat a variety of fruits for dessert. Ice cream can wait. Take care.
