Assuming the goal is weight loss:
Weight in lbs x 13 = average "maintenance calories" to stay the same weight. Eat fewer calories than that, ergo calorie deficit. Aim for 300-500 calories under that for healthy weight loss. Intermittent fasting helps by reducing the window, but doesn't stop you crom consuming 3000 calories and blowing the diet. 1 cup rice is 200 calories, 1 egg is 70-90 calories. Yes it requires some looking up of calories, but it works for us that don't have the metabolism we want.
