hey guys, i have a question.

 

i already lost 10lbs in 1 month just by cardio and diet alone.

now my question is, will i do better if i take hydroxycut or xenadrine?

It will definately help in fat burning if you take those supplements with your cardio and diet. Btw whats your weight and body fat % before you did ur cardio and diet.. what food have you been taking..

and what is your fat% now??

GUYS I need ur help....Ive been working out and been into sports since time immemorial,....am nw 26 btw.

 

I rlly am more of the ENDURANCE or CARDIO guy,.......the thing is,..I also wanna have lotza muscle( to attract chicks ofcorz) and yet be veyr CUT, LEAN ,MEAN and not lose my endurance.

 

What supplement(s) shld I use?

Oooopsss... DONT EVER USE WHEY PROTEIN WITHOUT ANY CARB DRINK AS A MEAL REPLACEMENT ... papatayin mo liver and kidney mo... Pwedeng meal replacement yun mga weight gainers, and 2scoops of whey protein + banana + flax seed oil + oatmeal... kung walang carbs kasi sisira kidney mo... ang whey mabilis na absorb ng body kaya good after workout and pag-gising... pero otherwise dapat hahaluan niyo siya ng carbs...

Main supplements in order of importance kung nagpapalaki ng katawan:

1. Whey protein - if you have money for only one supplement - spend it on protein powders. ***

2. Creatine - mahal pero worth it - lalakas ka talaga at lalaki ang katawan. Just remember to cycle it like 6-weeks on 6-weeks off - hindi yung continuous intake.

3. Multi-vitamins - hindi kailangan super mahal - kahit Centrum pwde na. Meron kasi yung starting yata with a letter 'P' (forgot the exact name) na super-mahal - useless - vitamins are vitamins ... basta reliable yung brand ok na.

*** If you're trying to gain weight too - you might want to replace Whey protein with those mixed drinks like Myoplex para may added carbo and calories.

 

Other supplementary things na pwdeng iconsider :

 

1. ZMA - (Zinc, Magnesium, B6 combo) especially for men. Exercising and drinking protein increases our need for zinc. Magnesium helps in muscle contraction. By the way, you don't need to buy the super-expensive brands like Twinlab. Yung gawa ng Optimum Nutrition pwde na - half the price of twinlab. Also, other people are saying you can probably buy the individual minerals para mas mura (Zinc, Magnesium) .. pero nagtry ako - yung specific contents ng ZMA (Aspartate versions - hindi yung oxides or chelates) is hard to find individually. Other people now consider ZMA as a bodybuilding crucial supplement.

2. Vitamin C - 500 mg. Look for those time-released formula. Supposed to help rebuild our tissues plus our immune system.

3. Fish Oil Omega 3 - supposed to be good for the heart.

 

Additional note :

 

1. Vitamin E : Controversial now since some new research suggests na this might actually be harmful kung sobra (400 IU and above) pero kinokontra ng iba as hindi solid yung research. Anyway, both sides seem to agree that 100 IU is safe so kung nagtatake kayo ng Vit. E - drop it down to 100 IU or below.

2. CLA : Some people swear it helps to loose fat especially in the abdominal area. Some say it doesn't work. Try nyo kaso mahal.

3. Other supplements (Arginine, CO-Q10, BCAA, Glutamine, ALA, Carnithine etc.)- try nyo kung may pera pa kayo B) sa Creatine pa lang kasi ubos na pera ko eh ..

You won't loose endurance basta continue ka lang sa aerobic exercise (jogging, swimming, bastketball, aero classes etc.). Ang problem kasi ng iba once natuwa na sa pagbubuhat ng barbells tinatamad ng mag-cardio - I know - ako kasi tamad magcardio eh :D

 

To gain muscles - Whey protein and creatine is THE supplement to take B)

The use of steroids is a personal one. We are all adults here and you have to make up your own mind. You will get big, but at what cost. I'm a fan of getting big, but not at the expense of your health. To get big one needs to be consistent in your diet, supplement and exercise. You will reach your goal and you won't have to deal with the negative side effects of steroids.

Water Retention:

 

This is most common from using steroids. It is a “puffiness” or swelling in the neck and facial areas. It is rather notable mainly if you know the person is on steroids. For example, I know someone that took steroids but I did not know it at the time. After I found out, if I looked his face I would wonder how I couldn’t notice he was on roids before. It can be mild swelling or very serious, obvious swelling.

 

Acne:

Hypertension:

 

High blood pressure is also a chance when taking steroids. Most athletes would not know if they had high blood pressure so it is suggested to get tests regularly. High blood pressure can lead to many more serious diseases.

 

Cardiovascular Disease:

 

Studies have shown that steroid use is a risk factor for heart disease. This is because steroids affect the cholesterol levels. Over a period of time the cholesterol builds up and clogs the arteries.

 

Palpitations:

 

Heart palpitations have been reported by a number of athletes on steroids. These may indicate an excited or elevated level of the central nervous system.

 

Impotence:

 

Impotence occurs when a user goes on and off steroids. When steroids are first used sexual interest increases because of the heightened frequency and duration of the erections. But eventually the opposite happens and no erections can be produced.

 

Jaundice:

 

A serious liver disease which is found by an enlarged painful liver, yellowing of the eyes and skin, and flu like symptoms. This happens when athletes use high dosages of steroids.
