Madalas kami doon. Nakakamiss ang mami nila. Yup, I agree na masarap nga ang beef mami ng Ling Nam. Gusto ko rin iyong mga siopao nila. There was a restaurant near the Luneta Theater (either on Harrison or Mabini Street) in Manila called Hong Kong restaurant. My family used to frequent the place in the 70s dahil ang sarap din ng beef mami nila. Mura na, malaki pa ang serving. I don't know if the place is still around though. Quote Link to comment

There is a new Ma Mon Luk restaurant in Ortigas corner Madison in Greenhills. Forgot the name of the building but its on the 2nd floor. By the way, its named Ma Su Ki. There is also a Ma Su Ki restaurant in Benavides St. in Binondo, Manila. The one in Benavides is originally named Ma Mon Luk but changed to Ma Su Ki. In fact, some of the original waiters of Ma Mon Luk are still working there. Quote Link to comment

Only the driver's side had a side view mirror. Quote Link to comment

I might drop by T Alonzo this week. I need to buy some stuff. Ling Nam beef mami here I come! Actually masarap din yung congee nila with bicho. :thumbsupsmiley: Another old time favorite was Hongkong House in the Mabini area. Don't know kung still open pa. When Ling Nam became popular (and faded away), Luk Yuen became my favorite in Makati and Le Ching in Greenhills and Del Monte. Usapang Ongpin, buhay pa ba El Presidente? Quote Link to comment
