How old ka na kaya pareng markang rehas? Kasi pati 60s and 50s mukhang alama mo. :D

Ganoon din kay pareng gr82d8. 50s and 60s din lumabas iyang banlon shirts. :D

I second the motion, Pareng Storm. Pati nga iyong Harry Stonehill case from the very early 60s e na-discuss dito sa thread na 'to!

Ayos lang iyan, Pareng Markang Rehas. Nagbibiro lang kami. I enjoy reading your posts. :thumbsupsmiley:

Pards, ano ba uli iyong sikat na kanta ni Bobby Gonzales from way back na ang lyrics e "O ang babae, pag minamahal, may kursunada, aayaw-ayaw..."? :D

:boo:

a stone's throw from here was PANCITERIA MODERNA... na miss ko toh. :)

Favorite din namin kumain dito noon. Buhay pa ba? I haven't been to Plaza Sta Cruz in ages.

Yung MaMonLuk sa Quezon Ave. ay buhay pa!

Yung LingNam sa T. Alonzo ay buhay pa as of last year. Sarap ng beef mami nila. :P

There was also a Ma Mon Luk sa Cubao, right on Aurora Boulevard. Madalas kami doon. Nakakamiss ang mami nila. :(

Yup, I agree na masarap nga ang beef mami ng Ling Nam. Gusto ko rin iyong mga siopao nila. :)

There was a restaurant near the Luneta Theater (either on Harrison or Mabini Street) in Manila called Hong Kong restaurant. My family used to frequent the place in the 70s dahil ang sarap din ng beef mami nila. Mura na, malaki pa ang serving. I don't know if the place is still around though. :)

There is a new Ma Mon Luk restaurant in Ortigas corner Madison in Greenhills. Forgot the name of the building but its on the 2nd floor. By the way, its named Ma Su Ki. There is also a Ma Su Ki restaurant in Benavides St. in Binondo, Manila. The one in Benavides is originally named Ma Mon Luk but changed to Ma Su Ki. In fact, some of the original waiters of Ma Mon Luk are still working there. :)

Maraming salamat, Pards. I'll keep this info in mind pag bumisita ako sa 'Pinas. Thanks again! :)

I remebered before when my uncle bought a brand new Lancer EL, optional ang side view mirror (passenger side) :D so he has to got to Banawe to buy it pa para mura :D

It was the same deal when my Dad bought a 1979 Toyota Corolla (the one with extended bumpers). Only the driver's side had a side view mirror. :D

Panciteria Moderna has been gone for years.

I just troop to Ling Nam instead. Champion pa rin mami nila.

Thanks bro. I might drop by T Alonzo this week. I need to buy some stuff. Ling Nam beef mami here I come! :P

Actually masarap din yung congee nila with bicho. :thumbsupsmiley:

Another old time favorite was Hongkong House in the Mabini area. Don't know kung still open pa.

When Ling Nam became popular (and faded away), Luk Yuen became my favorite in Makati and Le Ching in Greenhills and Del Monte.

Usapang Ongpin, buhay pa ba El Presidente?
