this is along post. just got back from bora:

how to get there:

consider only two options

by boat via negros navigation or Superferry

travelling by boat wil not cost you more than php4000

by plane

cebu pacific (kalibo) = 3500(cheapest)-4000(avg) depends on how early you book

asianspirit (katiclan) = around php6000

seair (katiclan) = around php7000

when you land on "KALIBO" you will need to travel by land via bus, it wil take you 2hours no matter what they say. If you are a big group eg:10-12 opt to "rent" a van which will cost about 150pesos each

if you take the van get the number of the "fixer" so you can contact him when you come back

otherwise take the bus to "CATICLAN"

When you reach "CATICLAN" port you will need to pay for three things:

terminal fee

enviroment fee

and boat fee

cheap lang mga yan

tip: eat ta jolibee or chowking, its the last time you'll see them (well may chowking halo-halo na sa bora)

The boat ride will take around 30 minutes.. it wil stop at station 3,2,1 respectively

Where to stay:

booking a room is easy thanks to the internet, just visit boracay.com or bluemaroon.com

tip: when you plan to stay for short time (eg up to 3 nights only) tipirin niyo yung room

otherwise (5 nyts and up) go for the room with aircon

tip: always get rooms between station 1 and station 2

what to do:

for the cheap people like me

you can rent skimboards for php150 and skim the whole day

buy a frisbee for around php250 pesos etc etc

always buy shakes at jonahs (near station 1)

for those willing to spend, boracay offers loads of water sports for the adventurous and the rich

boracay nights!

drink at cocomangas (beers at around 60+15shots!) station 1

dance at club paraw (party starts a 1am, get your tables by 12mn) station1

attend the after party around d'mall (4am onwards)

where to eat

cheap? go to smokes! its inside dmall-palengke

its cheap yet so delicious

going home:

ride a tricycle, tell them you want to go to the jetty port, this will cost you around 100 pesos (so better to travel by group)

WHEW! daming plugs ok thats it,, comments and violent reations will be gladly entertained

dude!

can you suggest a specific name of resort where we can stay (between stations 1 & 2)? :thumbsupsmiley:

 yung aircon ha & price range na rin (if you know)

san bang resort dito ang may  pinakamaraming tsiks na naka-bikini?  :boo:

Station 1 and station 2! The area around D'Mall has lots of foreigners and the party crowd. Station 1 area has lots of the higher end resorts, and less people. But the crowd here likes to have larger person space. They also like to dress like the pages of swimware magazines!

But if you're going there this month, forget about what I wrote above - they're everywhere!

Balik me bora nakatagal kasi me ng one week last month eh na miss ko agad but this time sagot ng pinsan ko yung plane kaya kinagat ko ulit. Sa station 2 me stay ewan ko kung meron pa dun kasi 1200 lang binayad ko last march. Maliit lang yung room pero may aircon, ref and hot and cold shower. Besides di naman yung room ang pinunta ko dun. Di pa nga bumabalik kulay ko eto na naman.
