btw, i'm looking for old PRIDE and UFC fight videos. Kahit yung compilations lang ng mga fights per tournament. Naghahanap ako sa mga video stores na sikat pero wala sila dun. URCC lang ung merong sila. Can anyobne suggest a good place where i could find the videos? Thanks!

The best place to go to is K1 extreme sports.. its near elorde at gilmore.. just before th stoplight of santolan road going towards greenhills.. samay gilmore yan.. complete sila from pride 1 up untill the last pride matches that were fought in the US.. also complete sila sa lahat ng UFC.. Bodog fight.. TUF season 1-4.. ADCC and alot of other stuff like instructionals eto number nila:

iba yun.. im not the type na manira but the owner of that place is a bit of a dick to talk to.. kung newbie ka and havnt been around the block.. maloloko ka nyan.. in fact.. parang ma hypnotize ka.. hahahah ako nga na hypnotize eh..

 

the Philippine martial arts comunity is very small.. and the mixed martial arts and BJJ comunity is even smaller.. almost sira na reputation nyan.

Gracie Barra. and is an legit instructor of Muay Thai and also Sarian. In fact he trains some of the fighters of Deftac.. names like.. Richard Lasprilla, Marcus Valda, Fritz Rodriguez just to name a few.

I've been around so far, care to share why you say the owner of fight club is such? never had any problems dealing with him so far.

As much as the Banned PPV is stacked w/ must-watch fights, mahirap silang kumita kasi

1) libre lang sa Spike ang UFC Fight Night

2) di kilala si Fedor sa States (tulad ng Pride USA debut, ~30,000 PPV buys lang pala yun)

 

Sana talaga kumita Affliction para meron alternative.. Btw, ring ba or octagon ang gagamitin sa Banned?

2. Dana White's "big" announcement? well, bukod sa deal nila with JAKKS (UFC action figures!) & new details on UFC 2009: Undisputed (for PS3 & 360), it's that Zuffa co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta will be with the UFC full time.

 

sounds meh? yes, but not so much.

 

with the UFC's plans for world domination Dana White's style won't appease potential investors. the situation needs someone with a business acumen and savvy of someone like Lorenzo Fertitta, with all his experience running Station Casinos & all his connections.

as for Brandon "ducking" Lyoto, it's a good move and I think the UFC should be thankful na hindi nangyari yun. i mean, someone who's coming off a loss (who also happens to be one of the top dogs in the org) has to be propped up again to regain his confidence. they've done with so many times with Chuck (how the hell does Vernon White deserve a title shot?!).

Anyhow ok dyan sa K1 marami nakong nabili dyan kina Jaime. unang BJJ gi ko dyan ko binili, pati mga fight shorts and a pair of twins special na gloves.

Well I bought an adidas training gi. a blue one for about Php3,400 ok naman siya hanggang ngayon ginagamit ko pa kahit sa competition.

 

I think the white one is about Php2,800. Yung mga fatal nila na gi baka mas mura pa. Second hand kasi yung fatal ko e kaya di ko alam yung price ng bago.
