One kind of freedom often used heavily is the right to be stupid.

Shady politicians or those whose popularity outweighs their capacity to actually be useful get elected;

Media and the press extolling freedom of speech, but from whose agencies and boardrooms come rumor-mongering, outright slander, and invasion of privacy;

What seems at first to be a healthy discourse on social media takes a nasty turn, becoming personal attacks and dragging innocents into the fray;

Political parties and even religious organizations claiming to represent the 'people' on one hand and lead spiritual lives on another, but, as is often the case, they only serve their self-interests;

All because, well, we have the freedom to do so. Freedom abused or misused is no different from freedom taken.

Happy Independence Day. We have so much to be thankful for. Exercise your freedom wisely. Use your mind and heart before somebody else plays with it.

Sometimes, its changing a little something about yourself that makes all the difference. First, be aware of your own BS. Often your brain is biased due to external forces and your emotions do not always tell the truth. Your emotions will reconstruct a truth to justify your intuition. Verify, analyze. You'll be amazed at what these can do to your perspectives.

You just don't step into someones' circle, you earn your place. And to became an active participant rather than a mere spectator in someones life is a privilege allowed only when trust has been given.

Trust is one of the most precious yet very fragile gift that one can every receive. It should be handled with extreme care and caution :)

His love is dying.

For every angry and unreasonable word she utters...his love dies a little.

But he stays. Because he knows she doesn't have a life without him.

His love is dying.

Everytime she gets angry when he sees his friends and have fun with them...his love dies a little.

He stays. Will stay up to the last strand of his dwindling patience.

His love is dying.

She doesn't see it, blinded by selfish needs and misguided understanding of how relationships work.

His love is dying.

But he will stay even if it kills him.
