Wala ako iboboto unless hindi nila tanggalin ung coach Dave Aguila.

Simple lang ang platform nya, back to old normal, you know why

Yan yung stand ko for over the year already.

I posted it here or I think in the other forums before, wag nilang gamitin ang vaccine sa kahit na anong bagay na makakahadlang sa human rights and dignity ng isang tao. May ibang restaurants na gumagawa nyan na lage favor ay purely vaccinated na napaka unscientific sa totoo lang.

Curious din ako kung ano mailalatag nilang nagawa talaga ni BBM.

That information is pretty much available online. In the 15th Congress alone, he authored 34 bills and co-authored 17 more. One of them might be familiar to most, the Cybercrime Prevention Act.

Also, he was majorly responsible (when he was Governor) for the Windmill project in Burgos and Bangui towns in Ilocos Norte. That area now has 50% of its electricity requirements come from renewable sources.

What stood out to me though was how he voted in the CJ Corona trial. He was one of only 3 Senators (along with Miriam and Joker) who voted against the majority in that sham of an impeachment. Noy2x was hell bent on removing CJ Corona for leading the Supreme Court to rule against the Hacienda Luisita valuation case and he even used the illegal DAP funds as bribe. The 3 (Bong2x, Miram, Joker) were the only Senators who did what was right in that instance and ever since, I have grown to respect him and not just focus on his family name.

FYI, I am a Sara supporter. But if our Agila sits out this election (which she already said she will), then Bong2x is the way better choice than Brief, Boxer, Panti and Lugaw.

I personally know Jessie and Leni's financier who were their "Alaga" and favorite jueteng financiers before Atong Ang came into picture. I also know the drop off points of the payola. Another Senator who's also is very much into "papogi" effect is also being financed by the same guy. Fact is the of the Finacier's daughter is one of the active smugglers in Subic Bay Port and is protected by the nephew of this Senator who happens to hold a high position in the BOC. Clue the BOC Assistance Commissioner has been named in several BOC cases from the time of Erap and still in the commission despite several contriversies and scandals. He's an Ex Cadet who was expelled from the Academy way back in 1987. The financier is from the North Eastern Luzon. Got a chance to do a business meeting this Financier to discuss a bank Letter of Credit for his importation business but unfortunately the bank disapproved the loan because of the negative findings.

Wait, sorry. Medyo nagcoincide lang kasi I was talking to someone the other day about the Ilocos Norte Windmills plus other things found out from his personal website.

I found articles that are not exactly in-line with the Marcos narratives stating that the windmills are initially their idea. At best, the most I could credit to him would be his approval/signing for the go-ahead of the project for his region.

All I'm saying na he was lucky that he was in service during that time.

My findings:

There was an external study by NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory, US based) which provided a comprehensive map of locations within the Philippines that are feasible for good wind energy alternatives. Numerous locations where found - with Ilocos Norte being one of the best.

EDC (Energy Development Corp, Lopez owned) then sent their proposal to build the wind farms and got approvals from ERC/DOE (Energy Regulatory Commission/Dept of Energy) following the Renewable Energy Act 2008. Funding was provided by loans from various bank loans. The project was done with cooperation from other local and international companies

In summary, this project seems to be initiated and driven by a private company as a contractor, and given approval by the PH govt - articles I found regarding the project has no mention of any Marcos.

Don't mistake this a a bash of the project. I'm all for renewable energies. I'm just saying the narratives does not match. Something that I find... consistent.

Now since we are in the topic of his vision for renewable energy, I wanted to know if he had any bills/resolutions in line with it so I can better understand his vision.

From his website, I found SRN 622 which was labeled as Energy Infrastructure System.

Thinking it was something related to the windmills, I checked the senate site for SRN 622. Only 1 entry was found syempre kasi I searched for the actual resolution number. But what I found as SRN 622 was this:

Authority of LGUs on PCSO’S Small Town Lottery Operations

Filed by Lacson. Ok...

That's just one example... I did find more pero finding these kind of mistakes on one's public portfolio as critical as this makes you wonder nalang e...

Brings back memories of his Oxford attainment.

I don't think Bong2x said it was his idea. If you check the interviews he did years ago prior to this 2022 election brouhaha, he is on record saying he was approached by an Israeli company in 1998 (Yes, after the 1996 completion of the  external study by NREL, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory) about the possibility of putting up windmills in Ilocos. He initially did not consider it seriously because of the financials involved and the long term viability of the project. It was not until WTO began to issue carbon credits and a developer advised him that the plan to create a golf course in Bangui is not advisable due to the strong winds did they pivot and began to seriously assess the Windmill project.

With what you say and his direction from the video, wouldn't he fit the responsibilities of either a Secretary of Finance or Secretary of Human Settlements and Urban Development?  This way he can focus on and be responsible for these efforts.

Well structured but mahirap accept ng mga die hard yan. Kung local sources, sasabihin dilawan or bias media. Same if international but the narrative is western puppet or illuminati picking their leader per country. Sabay memes, tiktok at youtube source nila. I’m all for discussing with those either side or on the fence (more irl. I don’t think I can influence strangers online) but yung mga ganun nasa level na ng flat earther or anti vaxxer for me.

Why would BBM go for cabinet level if he can run as President? As president, can delegate these responsibilities to qualified people using the implementation templates that they have proven to work in the past.

Criteria for choosing a president:

  1. Experience in running the government. BBM was a Congressman, Senator, Provincial Governor.
  2. Knowledge of both National and International Issues that may affect the country.
  3. Has vision and focus.
  4. Not beholden to oligarchs and vested interest groups.
  5. Has his own power base and is not dependent on "kingmakers" to get himself elected

You mentioned performance characteristics which is more fit to being responsible rather than accountable.

These are buzz words.  Can you help me understand by providing examples of accomplishments that i can fact check?

I observed that BBM was hired by us to work and not be a lackey and wallpaper of Du30.

Responsibility and accountability go hand-in-hand. These two provides the motivation to perform.

To be able to perform, you must have the ability i.e. having the knowledge and experience.

What's your point?
