Hay haroots care to explain?

This may seem to be petty but could reflect the process.

Lol

Pinalaki pa ang issue ng rounding off.

Cool ... rounding off 101/100

But i said the issue here is kung sinuri ba bago ipinost ... yun process na ginawa mo b4 you post.

Kung ang alam mong rounding off is sa total lang kaya 101/100 ang pinost mo obviously you are not a math person.

82 81.7

13 12.7

6 5.6

100% 100%

Kung naglagay sila nang total ma i self correct niya yan to 100%. Pwede mo i try sa excel yan. At least may natutunan ka sa math,

Sandali pinakita mo Net trust is 75 based on the chart ....pero dun sa isa 82-6 is what? Are the two relatee? Do the math yourself.

AGAIN its rounding off.

If that 1% rounding off issue is a big deal sa yo then huwag ka maniwala.

Their role in participating in this forum is not to discuss intelligently, but to muddle any favorable issue as well as highlight the negative issues regarding the Duterte government. Dyan sila kumikita.

same survey different data.

And even yun figures magkaiba

Yun sa table 82 - 6

Yun sa chart 83 - 7

So alin ba ang tama? yun nagmamagaling sa Mathematics ... pls explain bakit un isa nag round up yun isa nag round down.

Based on my experience if you have the same raw data especially with decimals it really depends on how you create the chart. You can copy paste the raw data or just type them with or w/o rounding off the decimals depending on the person doing the chart.

agree... but in this case when were talking about % of the total, the total would and should always be 100 not 101 nor 99. basic math yan na alam sana nun mga nagmamagaling sa math.

yun orig data net trust is 76 kasi 82 - 13 - 6 napansin na total niyan is 101. ang sabi ni haroots rounding issue ayun nga at nagbigay ng example pa nga at tama naman yun explanation.

now yun chart sabi net trust is now 75. kasi naman 83 - 7 na daw. tama naman ulit ang mathematical computation ang tanong kung yun una nag round up na to 82 and 6 supposedly as explained ni haroots, paano naman sasabihin na kaya from 76 naging 75 ang net trust eh dahil sa rounding na naman? so yun una nag round up then bigla nag round up muli? di kinaya yan pati ni exel pramis kaya pati yun exel sumuko sa kakacompute paano naderive yun na rounded up na to 82 ay naging 83 naman due to rounding again.

may rules ang rounding ... kung sabi nga kaya naging 82 dahil pwede kasing 81.7 yan talaga then bakit naging 83. same goes with the 6 dissatisfaction na naging 7. sabi ninyo rounding so may bagong systema na ba ng rounding? you can roundup again after already rounding it up? ie. 81.7 rounded to 82 then rounded again to 83 ... yan ang sinasabi ninyo right?

kaya nga tinatanong ko iisa lang ba yan dalawa kasi hindi maaring iba ang data kahit sabihin pang nag rounding yan. it may be 1% but ang sinasabi ng mga nakapansin may mali. math is a science ... 81.7 can be rounded to 82 but never 83 sa magagaling sa math unless yun nagsasabi at nagjujustify nito ay mas magaling at nakaimbesto ng bagong rules sa rounding. o siguro nga absent ako at mahina sa math.

btw mas malaki problema mo ngayon dun sa sinasabi mong corrected data sa chart coz now it becomes 83 - 13 - 7 or a total of 103 from 101. the total % should always be 100%. now sa “corrected” it becomes 103%

so after analyzing all the justifications ....ayun napafacepalm talaga ako.
