FACT: HINDI MAGRERESIGN SI TRILLANES DAHIL LIKAS NA MATIGAS APOG NYA. Alam naman dapat ng lahat hindi punto dito na mapatunayan nya na tama paratang nya o hindi. Ang katuturan nito "MAY MAPASAKAY SYA, AT MAGING CATALYST ITO PARA BUMAGSAK POPULARIDAD NYA SA TAO".

Kahit pa maglabas yan sila ng actual video na me binabaril si Duterte na adik, hindi basta basta mawawala popularidad nya sa publiko.

People are just fed up with the current system na labas masok lang sa kulungan at majority pa rin ng biktima hindi nakakatikim ng hustisya. Kaya kahit pumatay ngayon ng known kriminal walang umaalma. Kumbaga ngayon lang nakakalamang ang mga inosente kumpara sa mga kriminal.

Kung maayos ba ang current judicial system natin tatangkilikin ba ng tao ang systema ni Du30 syempre hindi. Yung mga taong nakikita ang totoong nangyayari sa lipunan walang umaalma.

I am in favor of the DENR Secretary's move to close mining operations in watershed areas.

 

I am in favor of preserving our natural resources for the future generation and allow miners to exploit our natural wealth only if responsible, environmentally-friendly technologies and extraction methods are used.

 

I am against exporting our raw minerals and ores. All mined minerals should be processed in our country and sold as processed or refined metals and minerals, or better yet, as final finished goods.

Ang sa akin kung may violations ang mga mining companies hindi ba nila kaya ito ayusin para hindi na sila magviolate ng mga rules to operate legally? Bakit si Gina ang tinitira e hindi naman siya gumawa ng rules, siya lang ang nageenforce ngayon.

The Du30 administration itself is a house divided on the mining issue. Following the proper processes and undertaking the necessary coordination is the way to address the matter as a whole. The DOF Secretary is most vocal on the issue because frankly, the DOF is the agency most affected by the action of the DENR. The DENR proceeded to shut down the mining firms and contracts without going through the council it co-chairs with the DOF. The budget for this year is 3 trillion pesos, and the DOF has to find that money somehow. DENR won't raise the funds to match the mining revenues that it has unilaterally decided to abandon. What about the workers displaced? Sure let the government give them financial assistance for the time being. Guess where the money's coming from - it's not the DENR. The DBM has to find the fiscal space within the current year's budget to answer for a program that's not included in the budget in order to immediately provide aid to miners who will be out of work. We're talking about billions of pesos here, and that's no chump change. I am also pro-environment but I know first hand that the art of government is not simple. Resolving one issue might seem simple enough, but it impacts other issues as well. That's why going through the process and coordination is important.

But I'm also concerned about the urgency to immediately stop the destructive methods used by unscrupulous miners. These miners manipulate the legal "due process" to continue with their irresponsible mining methods.

 

I have been to mine sites that are done with the appropriate methods and technologies.

 

I have also seen the irresponsible methods and this must stop immediately. Not for us but for the future generations.

MANILA- President Rodrigo Duterte on Sunday said the Philippines cannot stop China from building facilities in Scarborough Shoal (Panatag Shoal) in the disputed South China Sea.

Duterte issued the statement when asked to clarify reports that Beijing was building a radar station in Panatag.

“We cannot stop China from doing its thing. Hindi nga napara ng Amerikano eh,” Duterte said.

Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonio Carpio yesterday warned that if China sets up a radar station on Panatag Shoal, it will have complete radar coverage of the South China Sea. Carpio said China may eventually militarize the radar station, like what it has done to Fiery Cross Reef.

Defense Chief Delfin Lorenzana earlier said that China planned to undertake reclamation work in Panatag Shoal but the United States apparently managed to talk Beijing out of it.

The shoal, located 230 miles from Luzon and prized by Filipino fishermen for its rich resources, was seized by China from the Philippines in 2012.

Chinese coast guard blocked Filipino fishermen from accessing the shoal, prompting Manila to bring Beijing to a United Nations-backed arbitral tribunal.

The President recalled his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping wherein he warned the Chinese leader that Manila will use the arbitral ruling once Beijing begins to “tinker with entitlement” in the disputed waters.

“I said I will not invoke the arbitral ruling now. But there will be a time, in my term where I will bring the issue back on the table… and it will come,” he said.

Duterte said just like Russia, Chinese ships are welcome to come and dock in Philippine ports.

“Bakit ako mag discriminate against China? We are not at war against China,” he said.

Yes, due process need not take long. But lawyers can drag it forever if it suits their client.

 

Do you think the findings were not completed months before they were given the closure order? We should not act naive. These mining companies know what violations they are committing. They were counting on being able to bribe the DENR underlings into making sure they are not shut down despite their violations. Unfortunately for them, Gina has a different agenda.

 

Ano pa bang due process ang gagawin if you're already caught red-handed? Cease and desist agad. The main intent is to stop the damage immediately.

In your opinion, what should his administration do with this current overtaking of the NHA houses by Kadamay?

 

These house have been awarded already and some government employees are still paying for the houses taken over. But from what I hear from the news, there are some factions of homeowners who sell them water and some other government agencies are handing out food packs.

 

Do we want them to stay or drive them out? - If we want to drive them out though, providing them necessities like water and food defeats that purpose.
