FYI, for those who are lucky to have the full-run of the Sinestro Corps War..

 

I browsed the completed listings of this series in ebay today and I am surprised to find out that the series is still HOT.. Mantakin ninyo, one complete set of "Tales of the Sinestro Corps" sold for $16.. And that set ain't that hard to find.. The whole run of the Sinestro Corps is selling at $60-$70.. Kapag sinama pati itong Tales, aabot na ito ng $80-90..

 

If I knew that this series would be hot, I would've bought two issues per release.. Para maibenta yung isa.. hahaha.. All of us who have the complete run are lucky in having one of the most coveted series this decade.. :thumbsupsmiley: Geoff Johns really started a big craze on his run on Green Lantern..

Wildstorm is owned by DC so hindi rin siya inter-company crossover. I had thought of Titans pero andami ko ng titles eh. I would like to get Captain Action # 0 pero tigil na muna ako sa mga first apperances sa labas ng Big Two. Yung Godfather Chronicles eh lumabas na ba? Naisip ko ang kasi napanood ko yung Godfather 1 &2 kanina. Ang ganda pala ng storya.

 

Swerte nga natin sa Sinestro Corps (I got all the tie-ins except Blue Beetle #20)! :thumbsupsmiley: I guess GL and GLC issues are hot gearing towards The Blackest Night arc w/c leads me to wonder kung related ba ito dun sa current issue ng JSA or yung last page eh sa Kingdom Come na concept. Di ko pa kasi nabasa yung Kingdom Come eh.

 

Btw, I reserved a copy of Worlds Of Dungeons And Dragons # 1. Tagal na kong curious dito mula nung bata pa ako kaya tingnan natin...

Wala pa daw yung Godfather Chronicles, well, that is what Sandy told me.. The Godfather movie series (except for Part III) is considered to be part of the best movies of all-time, bro.. Mario Puzo's book, The Godfather, is also a nice read..

 

I was able to buy Blue Beetle #20 at Marikina Riverbanks just this week, bro.. Nakita ko nga sa e-bay na sinasama siya for set collectors.. So, binili ko na din.. hahaha.. Ewan ko lang kung may extra copy pa.. Will text you, if ever.. Di talaga ako makapaniwala na mataas natatapos ang Sinestro Corps sa e-bay international.. Ang layo ng ibang mga sets like Messiah Complex, Rise of Ra's Al Ghul, Death of Cap, etc....

 

Medyo maganda din natatapos yung set ng Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash.. But pagdating sa Sinestro Corps parang kulangot lang ito.. hahaha...

 

Pass ako sa World of Dungeons and Dragons.. Tama na muna yung World of Warcraft.. D&D was a popular game when I was in High School.. It has had its own fair share of comicbook adaptations already.. Gusto ko na nga matapos yung first storyarc ng World Of Warcraft eh.. Medyo nababaduyan na ako sa istorya..

I just love going to back issue bins.. And I love getting old comicbooks for good prices.. Actually, these comics are kinda expensive, but I had to buy them because of their condition..

 

Medyo madami ang darating na comics by next week, mga bros.. And malapit na ang Final Crisis.. Countdown is down to its last issue.. #1.. So yung #0 nina Morrison malapit ng lumabas.. I looked at certain comicbook releases in international websites and I think I am getting 10 comics this week.. Nasa Php1,400++ na naman siguro ang gastos ko nito.. Ahsus! :cry:

 

Baka next month, gumaan na ng kaunti ang load ko.. Tapos na ang Countdown, ang Trials of Shazam, ang first storyarc ng World of Warcraft and if Evil Dead #4 comes this week, tapos na din ito.. Sana wag munang dumating yung weekly comics ng DC na Trinity.. After a month na lang sana.. Wag sana ito sumabay sa Final Crisis #1, para makapag-pahinga ako sa mga weekly releases.. hahaha.. Haay, buhay!

No, I'm not getting Hulk Vs. Hercules: When Titans Collide. I love slugfests as well but I've given up this title the moment I saw it on solicitations because I've so many titles. I'm assuming this won't be a sell-out so you can pass for it this week and get it next week.

 

Boom studios seems to be a late "bloomer". I'm anxiously waiting for Warhammer: Condemned By Fire. I just wanna try the Warhammer Universe for a change.

 

Thanks for your thoughts, bro.. I am still undecided.. Naisip ko din kasi na baka kapag kinuha ko ito ay kumuha din ako ng "Sacred Invastion" sa Incredible Herc.. One more set-back is that this ain't the first Hulk vs. Hercules slugfest and most probably, it won't be the last.. Mas malaki ang chance na hindi na mag-pass muna ako dito.. haha..

I still have all of my comics from 10-15 years back, bro.. I even have my comics (although, wasak-wasak na talaga) from my Grade School years.. I just keep them in comicbook boxes, & most are just placed in plastic with backing boards..

 

I have no intentions of selling them.. Unless, gipitin ako.. hahaha.. Knock on wood.. But much like my NBA Cards, hindi ko talaga naiisip na ibenta ito.. I am selling some of my TPB's though coz I have the single issues already.. Mahirap din kasi ibenta ang mga collections ko dahil may sentimental value lahat ito sa akin.. Masarap din kasi ang feeling kapag kolektor ka na meron ka na key issue or key series..

 

But if you are planning to sell some of your collections, I think pwede naman kahit hindi pristine or mint yung copies mo.. As we all know, there are collectors who want to get a hold of a certain issue or series for their collections.. Not for grading purposes but for collection/reading purposes..

 

I am more of a collector than an investor eh..

Yung mga comics ko from highschool at college eh nakastack sa kwarto ko. I'm planning to give them to some of my friends soon. Di ko naalagaan kaya ipapamigay ko na lang pero yung mga sinimulan kong i-collect nung 2005 eh itatago ko at ibebenta kung may extra copy.

 

 

Ang dami ngang tie-ins ng Infinite Crisis! :cry: Buti na lang at wala pa yung mga spin-off ng Secret Invasion so mukhang pass na ako sa mga tie-ins at spin-off pero gusto ko ding makumpleto honestly.

Just got all of my new comics today.. I also read the new Previews.. And I saw all the f#&king tie-ins for DC's Final Crisis.. I still have no idea on what tie-in to get.. And I am getting jittery dahil (as mazinger pointed out) medyo madami nga ito.. Ang daming one-shots.. Right off the bat, I am thinking of getting the Rogue's Revenge storyline coz I feel that this is necessary to complete my Death of Bart Allen/Impulse storyline.. and the Justice League tie-in issues.. Yung mga one shots, Revenge, etc., di ko pa talaga alam..

 

Busiek's Trinity of DC (which would replace the weekly Countdown series) is something I would like to get.. But right now, I am having second thoughts.. Medyo masakit sa bulsa na ang weekly stories, tapos mukhang hindi naman nakaka-intriga ito.. Plus, Bagley's pencilling, and that (for me) is a big negative.. hahaha.. Akala ko kasi, four-parter lang ito.. Hindi pala.. On-going weekly series pala ito.. Damn! I will research on DC in the net when I have the time.. So that I could have a gut-feel kung ano ang importanteng mga issues.. Haay!

 

Final Crisis #0 will hit the shelves next week.. This is a no-brainer.. Anyone who's planning to get Final Crisis should get this issue.. 50 bucks lang naman eh.. :thumbsupsmiley:
